Honestly, it's amazing how much better I am at managing my time effectively when I have the prospect of income again. It's like I remembered how to human properly! 😌
#crystal visions of lilies in the valley#maybe I can add this experience to my essay-long letter I'm writing to my representatives about the homeless ban they enacted#because yeah: no prospective income/no livelihood is stunting. who the tf is going to be motivated under these circumstances!? FUCK.#(full disclosure: my reps expect homeless folks to use 'the services provided to them' when said services fucking SUCK/are unrealistic#and outright hostile to so many homeless folks - boys over 12; BIPOC; queer folks; folks abusing substances; etc)#the situation my reps caused makes me cry every time I think about it because this so called 'solution' isn't humanizing IN THE SLIGHTEST
