I am so full of pride when I look at my final word count, just squeaking over 70k, which is great because I've always wanted to write longer fics and felt like I'd gotten stuck with shorter, the 20-40k range, I finally feel like I have the patience, discipline, and skill to focus on the more novel-like works I've always had in my head--

this lasts until I start tabbing through comments I've left myself like [ come up with something clever here ] / [ need a punny name for this thing ] and then I think....ah. fuck.

#anyway full draft finally done!#just need to do a second draft on one chapter #and apparently come up with a punny name for a cantina fucking kill me #those ones are always the hardest when i really want to be clever about it #maybe it will come through for me again #but i am finished!#my brain did eventually come up with 'clean gone' for omens and all kinds of signs #first chapter coming tomorrow ;-)#that one at least i resolved all the comments for haha the other chapters on the other hand....#going to go for a run first and start coming up with tags/summaries/etc first #then we take comments #by we i mean me and the wiki #and probably that one spreadsheet of star wars curse words lol #if i can find it again
