#i saw that the director was a drummer and ljke . Yeah makes sense why thismovie is so in love#with an artist's passion . and so adamant on changing its tone and cinematography & editing#to convey the right feelings#i often don't even see the right kind of filters used to emulate old aged vintage aesthetics in movies#my god . this movie us so good#i am so in love#the way the camera tells the stkry is constantly shifting and flexing its elastic fingers around the emotions and sets and stages#and referencing old whimsical music . omfg . omfg#i am so in love with how this movie depicts each characters artistry & unconditional passion#'and one day as i sing along / a small town kid'll come along / and that'll be the thing to push him on and go go go'#breaks down into SOBS#damien chazelle YOU UNDERSTAND 💔💔#YOU GET OT 💔💔💔💔#must watch whiplash next#la la land
