i'm writing ch 17 and i've realized that i've turned evan into a Popular Boy™....... unfortunately this works incredibly well with the everything about him so as a result i'm just going to keep rolling with it

#if evan is paying attention to the conversation he's talking #he is the constant center of attention #the only thing preventing him and james potter from having a BURNING rivalry is them being in different years #they already have a quidditch rivalry but i'm talking about a social one #'you can't be the arrogant loud one who dominates every conversation but mostly manages to make it charming!!#that's MY JOB!!!!!!!!!!'#dark lord wip #the chaos of all of them being in the same year... holy shit #that would be a NIGHTMARE #i. don't think i'll actually write this but it's sending me into hysterics #PLEASE imagine regulus and sirius: unwilling potions partners because slughorn does it alphabetically #by last name #sirius seriously considers changing his last name to 'potter'#evan and james both attempting to be The Cool Funny One in every class #they would be fucking insufferable #all of them in astronomy together and regulus knowing everything #and sirius can't decide: pretend to know nothing b/c that's Black Famil Shit?#OR reveal how much he knows because HE CAN'T LET EVERYONE THINK REGULUS IS THE SMARTER ONE #okay i'm going to turn this into a post actually #i cannot hold it back
