#I may have just convinced a family member of mine to ditch chrome#I was questioned about a computer that was running slowly with just the internet open#and mentioned that yeah I've seen a LOT of people who know much more about computers than I do#bitch about Chrome's poor optimization as far as memory usage#so I demonstrated how to make a bookmarks folder and get some tabs closed#fumbled a little because I forgot you can't click and drag a whole ass tab into your bookmarks folder on chrome#which might have made switching to firefox all the more tempting because I was all ''wait where's the add bookmark option from right clicks#''where's the rename bookmark option???''#I also mentioned that I had recently trimmed my number of open tabs DOWN TO the number that was causing that computer problems#and so yeah when I mentioned that ff will just schlorp your bookmarks and history from chrome#this relative expressed a sincere interest in switching#hopefully I'll be demonstrating how to install Ublock next because I am apparently the only person in this house who used an ad blocker#dot post#ignore morg
