the thing is I'm rlly enjoying dunmeshi (the manga, haben't been watching the anime I rlly dont like how it looks tbh) but the fandom has gotten so annoying so quickly that I just can't stand to engage with it.

#I dont rlly think dunmeshi is a very complex or hard to understand work #which isnt criticism I think its very intellegently and thoughtfully done.#I just mean that its very open with its themes and messaging #and still I see people having the stupidest takes abt it and fandomfying it .....#also like. dunmeshi excells in its character writing and all the characters r incredibly fleshed out and layered #and still the number one problem in the fandom is making the characters into flat stereotypes !!!#the example that annoys me the mosz: ppl seeing themself and their autism reflected in laios #and as a result ignoring all his very real character flaws like his boundary issues and in regards to shuro racist behaivor !!#Im so annoyed like I love laios as well but why would u flatten him completely....#.txt
