Is this Evil Morty instinctively reaching for his eyepatch before recalling it's not there and camouflaging his action by scratching his head????
#AND I KEPT THINKING THIS GESTURE WAS WEIRD BECAUSE I CAN'T RECALL EVER SEEING MORTY PRIME SCRATCH HIS HEAD#if this interpretation is correct it might be a confirmation of my headcanon that the eyepatch is the only source of comfort for EM#and that he pats it whenever he's ultra upset to remind himself that everything is okay#that -- or touching it would fire some sort of weapon or defense against Rick Prime although I feel like this is unlikely#because from what we've seen till now the eyepatch is more of an interface aid or scanning equipment and not an actual weapon#Evil Morty mannerisms#Evil Morty#Eyepatch Morty#rick and morty
