tbh I don't get when people call darcy too goofy slash not properly sinister like. the goofiness is the sinisterness. it's not like andrias where at heart he's a giant goofball even when he's doing evil things. darcy is wearing marcy's face and imitating her quirks and goofyness but it is not marcy and is only pretending at being her, and to me that's what makes darcy so creepy. seeing an entity so decidedly not marcy inhabit her body and mimic her traits is infinitely creepier to me than a generic sinister villain tbh.
