#muse: tobias.#I'll expand on these when I find the time to but :(#The last 3 END me bc Tobias has /seen/ (actively does) how deeply rooted 'evil' is even in justice (i.e: orgs/police/etc)#so he has absolutely NO trust in any of them! The only ones he's willing to gamble on are those led by fellow Wammy's but even then ehh#He genuinely thinks his way is the best way. It's a billion times more dangerous and bloody; sure; but it gives WAY more results#and besides there's a quote that lives in my head rent free when it comes to Tobias. 'You become who could have saved you'#AND THAT'S!!!!!!! SO!!!!!!!!!! ACCURATE!!!!!!!!!! The law didn't do shit for him. He saved himself by using the methods he's using today#and the people /he's/ helped haven't been aided by the law for jack shit either. He's their only hope in escaping the shitholes they're in#There have been sooo many instances where law enforcement was not only useless but actively hostile by cooperating w the criminals#Hell he is taking /advantage/ of that by having connections within all sorts of law structures. It's WHY he knows they can't be trusted#bc he never once mentioned he's from Wammy's. They all only know him as a mafioso and yet found no problem in aiding him#so long as he has the $$$ or the brains to cook up a plan that'd end up in them becoming rich and/or influential
