IDK man, if the IT team consistently doesn't have enough man power to complete projects, it sounds like you need to hire more people, especially if the company has just had its "best year ever", even if it's just a temporary contractor 🤷‍♀️

#allison's work life #like...we can continue NOT hiring more people #and then the metadata will just come in later and later #sales won't have what they need so no one will pick up our books #and the quality of the metadata will continue to deteriorate as you continue to refuse to update our proprietary software #but you do you boo #getting increasingly frustrated being told 'IT doesn't have capacity for that'#like okay but also it is a thing we have to do because of the contracts we signed???#also you guys are the ones who get pissy when we start using the software in ways it wasn't designed to be used to compensate #it is fully insane to me that the software that feeds onix was apparently not built with onix in mind??????#and TO BE CLEAR onix predates this software by a good decade
