nona is going to be the autism book
#nona herself is so autistic mainly through the harrowharkisms finally being placed in a normal environment#but also by virtue of her narrative placement she is someone who is inherently other and who cannot fit in to standard society#in her case its because she is either an eldritch soul or a soul melange in what is certainly the wrong body BUT!#the way just. the way she is creates a barrier between herself and standard social behavior#and then THE ALECTO CHAPTERS are this x100 she is not supposed to be as she is and she still loves him and grrrr alecto is autistic#i've been saying that for months but the new excerpt is just like. ok this is the autism part#mothposting
