23andme is so funny bc it has a section on predicted traits and it's like. u should have no freckles and light tan/brown skin and i'm like oh man well you underestimated my mother's irish/broadly european ass on that one buddy. strong enough to beat statistics.

#the freckles one was esp funny bc it was like 90% should not have freckles 10% might have freckles and i'm just..... ope. well.#it's just wild bc i got like my eyes/nose/brows/hair texture from my dad's side #and then my mom hit the paint bucket in photoshop and added some freckles #and yet i do still look like the exact mixture of both of them. genetics is wack.
