in some sci fi shows there’s one actor, usually playing an alien, who just so completely inhabits that role that i don’t believe they’re a human in costume. like everyone else around them is acting, possibly very well! but there’s that one guy who’s actually an alien they found and invited onto the set. on stargate it’s bra’tac. on voyager it’s tuvok.
