I'm so fucking furious how common it is for a surgeon to get a reputation for working with trans ppl, and then turn out to be an awful butcher who's power tripping on treating such a particularly vulnerable population who have limited choices for where to go at all.
#like its a tale as old as trans people have been able to document our experiences having gender affirming procedures#and then transphobes try to use stories of malpractice as examples of why we shouldn't be allowed to exist/transition#when the phenomenon is literally a RESULT of transition resources being so punished and limited
