Bell, Book and Candle is on TV, and this is one classic movie I would actually love a remake of. I’m now fancasting this fictive modern remake with my mom.
#meet me on st. louis is on at 8 and that is one movie i would *never* want remade#kim novak is perfect in bb&c and pretty untouchable#but for as much as i love jimmy stewart this is not a favorite role of his for me#and a modern twist could be intriguing#i love pyewacket as a cat name from this movie#absolute classic movie cat#ramblings#my mom suggested chris pine for shep and i will now accept no other#the kim novak part is the hardest but my thinking is zoe saldana#i'd like to see her in something other than action (as good as she is)#and this role requires being cool and sexy and a certain otherworldliness that i think she could ace#when my mom said who would play the crazy brother i immediately said 'dan levy'#but daveed diggs would also be interesting#not sure about the other roles but a lot of options#love a pointless wish fulfillment fancast!
