Stop trying to separate things into rigid solid opaque impermeable boxes. "It's only [thing] if it has/does [specific trait that subjectively contributes to my specific viewpoint of said thing] otherwise it's [vaguely adjacent, arbitrarily separated thing]" what if the world isn't as black and white as you think and you could get to learn about and experience the breadth of existence with a fresh mind and an open heart. What if every grain of sand has a unique shape. What if life is an endless expanse of things you've never dreamed of ready to be discovered. What if everything is born anew with every dawn.
