I visited the Intrepid with my mom today, and despite the pain, I had a genuinely good time
#Ryn rambles#I've never been so I found it quite fascinating indeed#wanted to visit the Wasp who was there for Fleet Week#but the line was pretty long and my mom's boyfriend wanted to see Rockefeller Center#very glad I started using my cane early today#because otherwise things would've been SO MUCH worse#part of learning how to deal with chronic pain is figuring out when to push yourself and when to make things a little easier on yourself#and we were at the Intrepid for a solid 3 hours before we got lunch#towards the end I was having a bad time from pain AND overstimulation#being in NYC is always so much for me#also i got a cider this evening!#it's sour apple! my favorite!
