do you guys think when Sam was really little and starting to pray, he would pray to Dean because Dean was always the one that fixed things and made things right? Cause I sure do

#very small child Sam has no concrete concept of religion #and whatever he’s heard has been filtered through a hunters lens #so he knows abstractly that it exists and that people pray to get the things they want #but he also knows that Dean is the one that gives him everything he asks for #so I think little Sammy starts praying every night to Dean that their dad comes home soon and safe #and I think dean hears it one night and tucks it away to never be thought about again #bc he can handle being a lot of things to sam - brother mother father friend #but he’s nine and he can’t handle being god
