today was crazyyyyy at work
#im not gonna hold grudges but one of the replacements (who used to work here)#was an hour late and we had to take over some if his duties and that made the morning extra stressful#i basically had to handle the morning rush all by myself#on a monday morning#whan i was the opening shift so i was there at 6:30#and bc i didn't get much sleep in extra pissy bc the customers are actually so dumb#my manager told me that the customers who visit are mostly educated people#there are a lot if banks and lawyers offices nearby#but holy hell they can't think#we ask a question they tell us smth completely unrelated#no kne has the energy to fucking listen#which i get but please can you take like 2 fucking minutes#to help us get your order RIGHT and QUICK#we need you to say the words we cannot read minds#and when people are on their ohone while im taking their order.... jfc#some take out their airpod to say ine word and don't realise it's unfortunately a list of questions we have to ask#so no one complain abt getting jalapenos when they didn't want them#god im mad algkdlh
