#the reason why i say ‘internalised’ is because it’s ultimately up to the player whether he continues the behaviour he exhibited B.A#(before amnesia)#or whether he tries to change#but yeah he’s meant to be a deeply bigoted character. even if you choose social justice communism#the drunks still claim that he said some terrible things#even if harry is outwardly nice his inner monologue can still be demeaning and that’s intentional! you don’t unlearn a lifetime of bias#in a day#it’s an intentional writing decision. same with his weird fascination with young girls. he’s not meant to be a good person#but you can sure as hell make him into a better one#and yes this is a vaguepost. leab me alone#disco elysium#harry du bois
