She-Ra had an unbearable amount of dude characters in it, but you dudes are so used to having everything that the moment the focus is off you, you have a conniption about wimmens lib.
hmm. we’re talking about the 80s she-ra  aren’t we?
yeeeaaaaah. good guys had 2 ‘dudes’ maybe a few supporting casts. but it was mainly the chicks that were the bread and butter of the show. nevermind the fact a lot of women pushed for the toyline in a male-dominated toy company. as for filmation had a crew of writers, animators of both women and men. they worked to give a great show for little girls. (and boys) you think i grew up on heman alone? shit no. shera was just as apart of my childhood. we “dudes” grew up with girl shows. shit. i grew up watching my little pony before it was cool. just as i watched transformers. Jem alongside GIJOE. 80s shera was diverse waaay before the new show came around.

what was that you said? “ an unbearable amount of dude characters “ ? look at the original EVIL HORDE! look at that! it had an equal amount of EVIL Chicks more than the new series. look at that. so ya know, keep yappin’ but the original series seemed to have an even number of ‘dude characters’ as well as chick characters. tsk tsk.
a reminder that this page supports old and new. the new fans can check out the original. yes, it may be corny but hopefully, they’ll enjoy it just as much. remember the women who worked hard on this to give little firls something other than barbies and rock singers. they’re the ones who made strong role models for a generation of little girls.
so ya know. i’m not against women in animation.
