heeeeeeyyy, what's going on with the fish guy? I actually ate uh the red plants, it's really funny though because before hand as I was returning to my house with ingredients to cook it with but.... A bunch of birds just died....In front of me? That might be a sign from Aeor lol

Anyway I cooked it into some ramen expecting it to be spicy, nope turns out it's really sour and tangy, while the dish sucked I actually found that the red plant makes a really good vinegar briet and I also realized that if you want to cook it with anything you have got to cook it with another extreme flavor or else it's too sour.

And you know spite the taste....and the awful reputation....and the extreme flavor that would scare any rational chef a mile away I have been cooking with it a lot and I haven't hallucinated at all.

However to keep myself humble I will say I thought I was hallucinating when the pterodactyl cop came to my door and asked for his son Bobby back, but the voices said I was just being closed minded!

Anyway andyhs wgre nyt....... sorry wasn't speaking right, thanks voices for pointing that out... as I was saying red plants 100% recommended!

You tab over to their calendar and shake your head. "No good -- you have meetings until late tonight."

Toaster slumps against your desk with a sigh. "It's already past six. Can't you let me off a little early?"

"Me? Let you off?"

A tired smile graces his face as he leans over you, his loose hair falling from his bun. "Oh, please. Even if I sent you home early, you'd stay."

"W-why would I do that?"

His breath touches your ear as he somehow finds a way to get even closer to you. "I don't know. Maybe you were hoping for a little more of-"

The door slams open across the office and Toaster leaps to his feet. "O-oh, hey. Forget something?" He tries to hide the small blush on his cheeks as he adjusts his tie.

"Did you?"

Toaster frowns, meets your confused gaze, then the two of you turn at once to that flooded calendar.

"... Oh, my god. Sir I am so sorry -"

"Shit!"

"Yeah, 'shit!'"

"I'm coming, I'm coming!"

His colleague lets the door slam shut behind him as he leaves -- no doubt he'll be waiting down in his car for the CEO. You quickly help toaster gather his laptop and notes as you rush from the office.

In the lobby below, you take Toaster's hand before they can push open the entrance. They turn to you with a questioning look.

"I'm sorry. I really should have caught that." You're trying to not stare at the floor, but it's hard. You really should know better than this with his calendar.

He pulls hand from the door and gently lifts your chin. You're met with their warm, comforting expression.

"It's okay. Really. Things happen." They kiss your cheek and bring their hand back to the door handle. "Come over tonight."

"But, your meetings -"

"After that, dummy." He winks and leans in one more time to sneak a more lingering kiss. "We'll have you make up for that mistake then."

He leaves before you can manage a reply. His colleague is shouting from the car as he rushes over, but all he can think about is how he can't believe he managed to get those words out of his mouth. Holy fucking shit.

These meetings couldn't end sooner.
