same here! I'm trying to keep up with a couple of currently airing animes as well, spy x family and blue lock being two of them. I've watched link click (earlier this year I think)! how are you finding it so far?

oh I'm terrible at keeping up with release dates and what's upcoming tbh so it's more likely instead that I'll have to ask you or some other people what's good 🥲 for now, I'm just waiting for new seasons of a couple of shows (including link click). I think the one new anime I'm waiting for is solo leveling (I didn't read the webtoon though)

it's been a long month fjlakdjf i had a final on monday and now i have to get through 5 more over 4 days starting on monday so lots of studying happening right now, especially since my first 2 finals are the harder ones 😭 fjaldkfja i feel like the only animanga that would give you away was if you like op since there's not as many fans of the series as i'd like there to be but also haikyuu is so much fun so i love it so i can already tell you have great taste! how are you liking sxf and blue lock so far?? i love the way those 2 series are just totally opposites and i love watching them one after another because they're both so fun in their own ways. like legit, i know blue lock isn't a comedy, yet my sister, moh, and i are laughing too much during each episode bc i love their dramatic antics and i'm so glad to see it all being played out on screen now. i've only seen the first 3 episodes of link clink so far but i really like it so far!! moh and i are loving watching it and theorizing to the max about it as much as we can during our watches (since i haven't been able to join all of amc's watches). i gotta warn you that i'm like super bad at keeping up with what's coming out so i'm probably the last person you want to ask for recs, but i can definitely direct you to some people who have simply the best recs !!! oooo solo leveling is another one that's on my list (dw i didn't read the webtoon either faldkfja) to answer the question of the week: my favourite characters are: roronoa zoro and nami (one piece), oikawa tooru (haikyuu, which is probably unsurprising bc of my sideblog's url), dabi (boku no hero academia, even though i've given up on bnha ever being a good story), nakahara chuuya (bungou stray dogs), zeno (akatsuki no yona), minako aino (sailor moon), and sherlock and william moriarty (yuukoku no moriarty) characters i relate to: unfortunately i've found myself relating to luffy (one piece) after october 2021 a lot, which definitely sucks and nakahara chuuya due to our bodies betraying us but i also am relating hard to mizuno ami (sailor moon) right now bc of all the studying, roronoa zoro bc he sleeps a lot, miya twins always bc moh and i fight like them all the time, wei wuxian and kamado tanjirou bc of our protectiveness over our siblings, edward elric bc of my shortness i asked @luffys who she thinks i relate to and she immediately said asta (black clover) bc i'm screaming at her all the time, which to be fair is always valid bc she's a dipshit, and she also said i relate to murr (vanitas no carte) bc i'm always done with everything but mostly her, she also said a character from free but she was just trolling me with that since she knows my opinions on that show fladkfj

adlskklf I have literally no clue which character I relate to I’ll probably need to go through the list of all the shows I’ve watched as well 🤡 the only one I can think of is morioka moriko from recovery of an mmo junkie (from a few years back + not really one of the mainstream ones I think?) because of her neet status (not that I’m a neet, but just the same general feeling of not knowing what to do with my life) and because I once played an mmorpg with a male main character and pretended to all the friends I made there that I was really a guy ah what fun times 🥸

my brother lives on his uni campus and granted singapore isn’t that big but we still rarely see each other. we recently had a family vacation though (a short one) and we did our usual bickering and mutual sarcastic jesting which is probably the one thing we enjoy doing to one another to our parents’ utter confusion. he’s graduating next may, so maybe after that one he moves back home we’ll see each other more - but who knows, when he starts working, he might get busier

so far holidays have been good for us! moh’s been sick right now so she had to stay home so i went alone to my cousin’s house yesterday for dinner, which was super fun and exciting bc i got to meet her new baby son who i haven’t met yet since i was in a different city for school ! he’s adorable and so smiley and i had an absolute blast seeing all my cousins and their kids !!!

hope this week has been kind to you 😌 (despite all your finals) as a working adult (?) fumbling through the world, sometimes (most times) I really miss my school days hah

asdfghj I confess to not watching op *sweats* I briefly considered bingeing it to make your gift but when I googled the episode count, this was me: *insert homer simpson backing into bush meme*

I'm enjoying both of them! sxf was kinda slow the first few episodes, but I really enjoyed the tennis tournament ones. blue lock is absolutely amazing so far! I went into it knowing only that it was about football/ soccer so the first episode had me going ?????? omg is it that dramatic? 🤣 the additional time really had me laughing though, especially the recent one with kunigami crying 💀 tbh I don't remember much of link click but I remember it keeping me on the edge of my seat, and whenever the first few notes of the ending song started playing I would go "ah yes here comes the cliffhanger ending"

your answers were so fun to read, especially the characters you relate to! if anyone ever asked me that question I would probably struggle to answer, but you have so many and that's so cool! you and moh sound like a chaos duo asdfgh but it's such a nice dynamic! my brother and I aren't that distant but we don't share similar interests and don't spend much time together, so we don't have a lot of things in common to talk about. increasingly the only time we interact is when we go on family trips which are becoming shorter and rare as the years go by 😔 you and moh sound close and I'm really envious about that!

finally finished all my exams so i’m just exhausted and finally got back home on monday night so i’m just catching up with my family and friends and on tv shows/movies that i missed while school was going on.

flkadfja i’m honoured that you even considered bingeing op for me 🤣 that’s hilarious and amazing !!! yeah, op is definitely the longest animanga series out there but i will say that it’s definitely worth the read/watch! and if you ever do, lmk and we can scream about it together bc i definitely feel like you’d enjoy it :D

yes, sxf was pretty slow in the beginning but i’m glad it’s picking up now ! the tennis tournament was absolutely wild and my sister and i had to keep pausing and rewatching certain scenes bc we couldn’t stop laughing (like when loid started dodging the bullets by swinging all over the place fjaldkfa). my favourite thing about blue lock is that, while all other sports animanga are like ‘there’s no i in team’ and everything, blue lock’s like fuck friendships, i’m winning this shit flkfjad the additional time bits are such a cute little add on, i love them all!! since i got super busy with school, i wasn’t able to get back into link clink but now that i’m home, i’m hoping i finally can (especially since i stopped on a two parter)!

yeah, moh and i are very chaotic. i think everyone who knows us can attest to that, our parents like to say that when we fight, we’re like cats so that’s fun 🤣 aww i honestly can’t imagine not being close to my twin sister or my brother. is there anything that you and your brother do enjoy doing together?? do you guys live close to one another? maybe starting with something small can bring you closer than you are?

answer for this week’s question: my plans for the end of the year consist of me being home with my family and friends for a bunch of parties since i haven’t seen them all for 4 months and eating all the homemade food my mom and dad can make bc i missed it so much 💙 i really want to explore the city i’m living in next year so hopefully school will calm down a bit and let me do that bc i’m only there for one year and i don’t want to just be sitting doing nothing but studying 😭

sorry for such a late response bud, i saw your message come in but this week has been so busy (had my last midterm on monday, a quiz on tuesday, an essay due on wednesday, an assignment due on thursday, and another assignment due on friday) so i had no time to reply 😭💙

i am currently trying to keep up with spy x family and blue lock as much as i can but i also started link click (if you weren’t apart of it, animangacreators is currently hosting a stream for the show right now to earn a badge) and i love it. for manga, i actually went on a huge hiatus from reading manga from october last year so i have to catch up on everything fjladkfja

i’m definitely excited for dr. stone’s new season next year! other than that, though, i have no idea what else is set to air so if you know any good ones, let me know!

to answer your questions: i’d definitely say i really love like action/adventure/fantasy stories a lot!!! but at the same time, i do read/watch quite a few sports animanga as well. for fantasy, my number one favourite animanga is definitely one piece (it’s world building is on a whole other level and nothing else can compete) but bungou stray dogs, sailor moon, akatsuki no yona, inuyasha, and fullmetal alchemist are also some that i love! for sports animangas, i really love blue lock, daiya no ace, and haikyuu!!
