Nine Nations - Istralyn

finally.... i’ve finally found a way to make the perfect map thanks to some new clip brushes \o/ it’s so much effort i never wanna do it again :) i’ve had the general shape of everything in my head for years but could never find the right program to make it just how i wanted lol

context: the names are those of the nine races that inhabit their respective regions, the two sections without names are untouched territory*, building cities is restricted** in order to preserve the land and respect the legends of the four Fallen Stars***, both regions have two sacred areas that are considered to have been the landing sites of the meteors (circled), i could write so much more about everything on here but it’s almost 5am and i’m still recovering from whatever cold/flu i got nerfed with for the past week so HERE /runs away

* Technically the north most region isn’t “sacred” but it’s too cold to build there anyway so they just dont /shrug

** Vagradi are nomadic so they make temporary camps in those areas but always return the land to how they found it

*** Meteors that, according to legend, held the spirits of the four gods that created the original eight races (not including the coalescents)
