Imagine it's Saturday, the admirals have had a very long week of dealing with Oberstein antics and just want to watch TV in peace. First thing that pops up is Mr Robot eyes too good for emotions trotting his dog around for the judges. When they get all lined up, Oberdog just lies down and takes a nap. Anton Fellner is in the crowd with a sign cheering on Oberstein and Oberdog.

Moderne Kirchen-Decorationen

Today we are featuring decorative plates from Moderne Kirchen-Decorationen: Ein Vorlagewerk für ornamentale Kirchenmalerei, which translates to “Modern Church Decorations: A Reference Work for Ornamental Church Painting.” Published as a portfolio of 32 colored plates by Anton Schroll in Vienna in 1890. The chromolithographs are based on the original artwork of Ferdinand von Fellner-Feldegg, an architect and professor who also worked as the editor of Der Architekt  from 1895-1908.

In our copy of Moderne Kirchen-Decorationen there is an original piece of architectural artwork laid in, signed “F. P. Feilen.” It is the last image in this post.

So far I’m enjoying all of the character re-designs in Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These, but this new design for Anton Ferner / Fellner [ アントン・フェルナー ] gives me a big sad.

DNT Ferner looks like discount Kircheis in that scene from the new trailer and that’s a crime against all beautiful male subordinates. At first I thought he was Kircheis is disguise but the voice didn’t match up and was confused why the Japanese text said “Anton Ferner.” Please let that ugly mop be a disguise-wig, I know you can design better than this Production I.G.

Legend of the Galactic Heroes, due video introducono il cast della seconda stagione dell’anime

Il primo dei tre lungometraggi uscirà nei cinema giapponesi il 27 settembre.

Diffusi due video promozionali che introducono il cast di “Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu: Die Neue These - Seiran” (Legend of the Galactic Heroes: The New Thesis - Stellar War), l’attesa seconda parte del nuovo adattamento animato tratto dalla saga fantascientifica “Ginga Eyuu Densetsu” (Legend of the Galactic Heroes) firmata da Yoshiki Tanaka.

La serie proseguirà con una trilogia di film, dove ogni pellicola raggrupperà 4 episodi, andando a costituire di fatto la seconda stagione dell’anime. I lungometraggi approderanno nelle sale giapponesi, rispettivamente, il 27 settembre, il 25 ottobre e il 29 novembre di quest’anno. In testa alla notizia potete vedere la locandina rilasciata per il primo.

Acquistata in Italia da Dynit, la serie è disponibile in streaming, sottotitolata, su VVVVID.

One thing I noticed is that Kircheis makes up the last two letters by himself, which is a powerful gesture.  He remains to be one of the most influential, if not THE MOST influential character of the series.
