#anyone with more history with gin wanna take a stab at this?

oh hell that drink actually sounds great and i'm not big on alcohol. can anyone describe gin? most of my aversion is bc too dry = tastes and smells like medicine. could i switch it out with some other potable? ~curious~

I've not had a ton of gin-based drinks but the ones I've had either have a cucumber gin or a sort of herbal one, so I tend to think of gin as sort of botanical taste--It might be a bit dry? But I've never had it by itself so I'm definitely the wrong person to ask-I think switching out one liquor for another or for another beverage could work as long as the flavors still mesh-it'd just be a variant drink.
