Making peace with fiction that wasn't poorly executed but was in fact so so so so fucking close to being perfect (via a balance of perfect scenes and overall good ones) but missed the mark just a smidge to the point of it being jarring. That's the hardest battle god can give you

#ramblings of a lunatic #yes this is abt the final scene in ttt that I've bitched about endlessly #IT'S NOT EVEN BAD IT JUST NEEDED MORE ROOM TO JUSTIFY ITSELF AND GIVE REACTIONS TO MAKE IT FEEL COMPLETE AND NOT UNFINISHED #DO YOU UNDERSTAND HOW CLOSE THIS WAS TO BEING A 9/10 BUT LANDED FIRMLY ON A 7 #YEAH I'M THAT GUY RN. YOUR PARENT ASKING YOU WHY YOU DIDN'T GET AN A+#I'M BITCHIN!#you guys haven't even seen half of the written evidence of me trying to sus out all the ways this stumbled and how those could've been-#-ammended #I've got 2 public posts about it 3 times that amount undedited in drafts #anyway i HAVE made my peace with it. I'm always gonna understand and sympathize w/ ppl who resent it's inclusion i understand why ppl like-#-it or even love it #i understand why they put it in but i had to do a lot of digging past my own discomfort and i still think it had an unfinished quality #but like I said. everything else abt the special was so good. it was so good #i keep going back to the luz and camilla scenes and the hexsquad scenes. they're so good #anyway yeah. tosses confetti. I'm actually not obsessive abt this show at all <3
