i feel like a lot of people need to realize antitheism doesn't make you look smarter or better than anyone, you just look like edgy undereducated twats
#just to be clear: criticizing religion isnt antitheism#religion (especially organized religious systems) should be publicly criticized#but saying ''religion and faith are inherently evil and stupid'' is just a fuckin braindead statement#and im saying this as a person who's been deeply harmed by religion (specifically institutional christianity/catholocism)#individual religious practices and faith and spirituality can be deeply beautiful and helpful to people#also most antitheist arguments tend to be chock full of racism so. theres also that#anyway tl;dr: dont use reductionist arguments about complex topics like religion and faith#ghoul groans
