Asterius/Theseus: What made you ship it? I shipped it immediately upon seeing the two of them standing next to each other. Before either of them said anything. I know what I’m about. Then every line that comes out of Theseus’s mouth is him gushing about how much he adores Asterius and in turn, Asterius is so obstinately loyal to Theseus, there is no way I wasn’t going to ship them. What are your favorite things about the ship? You mean besides the fact that they’re perfect for each other and have redefined romance as we know it? My favourite thing about this ship is that they’re the best. The end. Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship? It turns out that “Theseus tops” is an unpopular opinion, so... that? Like, I’m here for them both being switches, but also, I absolutely think that Theseus is the more experienced of the two, whereas Asterius hasn’t been in a relationship or felt these kind of feelings before Theseus. So, at least to start with, Asterius feels more comfortable with Theseus taking the lead. Meg/Aphrodite: What made you ship it? The fan art, for sure. I probably wouldn’t have thought of this ship on my own, but there sure is some nice fan art of them. What are your favorite things about the ship? Hot ladies giving each other the good times they deserve. Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship? Hmm, I guess when it comes to wlw I’m more into Meg/Dusa and Artemis/Aphrodite, but I still think these two are neat! Charon/Hermes: What made you ship it? Since I immediately loved Hermes, I went on AO3 to see what the ships for him were and that was when I came across Charmes. I hadn’t got to the point where the game addresses their relationship yet, so I was kinda like, “Woah, these two? Really?” But then I like both characters a lot, so as soon as I got to the parts where it gets revealed that they’re professional associates I warmed to the ship quickly. What are your favorite things about the ship? You don’t get a dynamic like Charmes everyday, but it’s clearly hit home with a lot of people and I’m absolutely here for it. We are all Hermes. We are all in love with Charon. But yeah, they’re just a lot of fun and I adore the concept of these two mischief-makers quietly pulling the strings behind the scenes and Zagreus having no idea that half the reason he succeeds in his quest is because he’s endeared himself to both Charon and Hermes. Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship? I don’t think so, y’know? I’ve just liked everything that I’ve seen for this ship. I even love all the human Charon designs, which is rare for me, since I’m usually not about “here’s a human version of this non-human character”. But I think because they keep Charon looking and feeling exactly like Charon (instead of going down the Gravity Falls Onceler Triangle route) that I enjoy the designs a lot more. He’s crusty and I want him to be crusty.
