giants who never put their tiny friend down they'll be doing tasks and they'll still be casually holding their friend in their hand (or arms, if the giant is a minigiant). it just makes the giant happy to have their little friend with them. meanwhile the smaller friend is just there like "ok :)" not minding it at all

when the giant just gently picks up the tiny with their forefinger and thumb around the tiny's waist.. and then they just gently put them down wherever the tiny needs to be, like maybe the tiny was trying to get to some place out of their reach or something and needed help. like !! imagine how careful the giant needs to be in order to do that.. it's such a casual gesture but so sweet

yes !! fairyflies are so fascinating. it's wild how an insect can be so small, some fairyflies are even tinier than some bacteria and amoeba fairyflies were actually my initial inspiration for the new tiny oc in the last art i did. but while i was researching i also came across another bug called the woolly aphid while not in the same family as actual fairyflies (which are wasps instead of aphids), woolly aphids are also called "fairy flies" from time to time. they're not as tiny, but still pretty small. when i saw the "fluff" that they're covered in i just knew i had to use it in a character design i love the concept of a tiny character meeting someone who's even tinier/a giant meeting someone who's even bigger. you get to play with how whether someone is big or small is all just a matter of perspective and it's very funny asdghk

As a fellow g/t lover, what's your opinion on nose nuzzles?

nose nuzzles in g/t are very cute !! the size difference makes it into something very unique. it's so sweet when the giant is just holding the tiny in their hand and they just gently nuzzle their nose against them... also from the tiny's perspective, it's probably the easiest thing for a tiny to hug on a giant, aside from their fingers and hands or ankle (assuming the tiny can get a lift up to the giant's face). they could conceivably get their arms around the giant's nose but also it's the size as the tiny themself so it's sorta like hugging someone on the same scale as them. the fact that it's also a person's face also implies a close bond i think, since physical touch around the face tends to be pretty personal also i think it's very funny when the giant tries to look at the tiny on their nose and they just go cross-eyed trying to see them. it's very silly and cute asdfghk it's just a very tender and sweet gesture.

How’d Jack react to meeting someone half an inch tall?

he'd be amazed at first, he's never met someone so tiny before! he'd be friendly of course. he'd want to talk to them and get to know them as he'd be especially curious about them.

Jack would be endlessly fascinated by such a tiny person but also i think he might be afraid of hurting them. half an inch or less is so tiny... He's held things on a similar scale before (like little ladybugs and such) so he has some experience. but never an entire person half an inch tall... he's very very careful with them.

from the tiny's point of view, a lot of movements from such a giant would be terrifying or at the very least quite overwhelming. Jack is rather quick to catch on to this so he'd try to figure out small and gentle gestures in order to communicate basic things such as "look over there" or basic yes/no answers (probably with his eyes and head movements) of course, it would be nice if the two of them could have a conversation. The volume of their voices due to their respective size is an issue, but maybe they could get by with writing/drawing or developing their own system of communication using gestures. the effort is worth it in Jack's eyes. He'd make sure his new tiny friend is comfortable and would be very gentle around them
