Ellenor Art studio looked at the theme of Valentines, and created their own eight hearts, after looking at painted Kandinsky circles. The group were invited to use their own colours and themes within their heart designs.

Members of the group in Art studio Ellenor looked at different ways to create Christmas cards and holiday themes using materials from around the home, whether it might be card, ribbon, tape, old cut outs and collage. The group also looked at ways to use stencil printing.

Ellenor Art studio looked at the artist Sonia Delaunay and her use of colour in her fashion design, paintings and artwork. one of the group came up with their own fashion design inspired by Delaunay’s work.

This was made by a member of the group. Art Studio Ellenor looked at the history of masks, and they were invited to design their own version.

Art Studio Ellenor looked at Mosaics this week, and the group were invited to make a mosaic either by painting a design, like this, or following the instructions to make mosaic tiles from an old cereal packet.
