nimrod appreciation post. nimrod to me feels like the middle child stuck between the incredibly talented younger brother, american idiot, and the classic, original yet brilliant, older brother dookie. and it feels a little overlooked. but its SUUUUUCH a banger of an album. i listen to it in full very regularly, skipping only one song (i dont like instrumentals) and its just. so amazing

#this post doesn't mention warning and insomniac sorry<3 #but yeah i love nimrod so much #as ive said before. i believe with just a little tweaking nimrod could also be a concept album #just move a couple songs around and its an album about a long term relationship falling apart due to ones drug abuse
