it's too bloody soon to be fantasizing about writing a prequel novel when we aren't even sure it needs one...
#I think it would murder us if we started it right after. could you imagine.#alderhill#I think we need to consider short stories or other sorts of things in the meantime#the main book spells out some of the timeline in pieces and scraps but to delve into it fully....that would do it justice#but it could also go strangely.#for one we don't want to write so many forest scenes they all blur together#or rehash information that's already there#the main draw for *me* at least would be getting a glimpse into the blue coats and cairn's beginnings; how it all came around#and amelia ronan's story.#it could end with her escape and giving up one of her children: elliot's uncle#as well as cairn being endowed the title of king#but gods. NOW I'm fantasizing about another story following elliot's uncle's side of the story. a Nameless' child. how the dichotomy--#--between fairy and Nameless is nothing more than a matter of perspective#aughhh............#aughghh#I think we're actually Falling Hard for this setting#I'm getting those tugs and pulls of inspiration#musings#alderhill spoilers#(for these tags)
