"Did I miss it?" "Yes," Gouna said, barely acknowledging Warren as he jogged into the lab. His nose was buried in a tablet, the other hand tapping away at the nearest console to the gestation tank, which still had the metal casing around it keeping it protected from the light. "You've just missed their entu'borah." "Ooh," Corin piped up from his place hidden behind the tank. "We've got sarcasm today." Thrive—also hidden behind the tank—stepped into view and, with Corin's help, removed the latches locking the casing in place. "That's extremely humorous coming from you," he grunted as the latches popped apart.

cloth(es) (Eternal)—

If only you knew. [Warren] blinked the rain away from his burning eyes. Turned his head to look beside him at the source of the gripping voice. If only you knew how...starved...I have become. How our bellies have been emptied of martyrdom...and...trepidation. The shadowed, misty figure came into form beside him, sitting calmly out of reach. It permeated through Warren's clothes. Barely human, just enough to keep him slightly less unsettled. Though that was not the point. You will not remember this experience, it said, burrowing into his brain, hundreds of maggots in his ear canals. Your soul will. Yours is...impressionable. I had become enthused with...finding the festering, infected sore within you although now I believe it is the same as it has always been. We can...taste the pus. A darker void opened in place of its mouth, opening wide, unhinging its jaw to speak. It hummed a monotonous chord, rumbling the atmosphere, vibrating pebbles. ...F̵a̸m̶i̸l̴i̷a̸r̷.

will (Meridian)—

His eyes followed the faded lines starting at Guetry's neck, morphing into thicker, more recognizable shapes down his right arm. The burn scars were visible now, once hidden beneath the tattoo. If Guetry was awake Warren would've made another of many cracks about them, but now, with a single thread of life hanging on, he regretted ever saying anything about it at all. Guetry got those scars by putting himself into harm's way to save venevan children, it was the inciting incident that caused him to accidentally overdose and need an AI in his brain—Guetry himself having moved past it meant nothing. Not anymore. "A technician from NodeSource is here to untether him from Scotty," Thrive interrupted his thoughts as if he'd heard them plain as day. "Once they're untethered, it's very likely that Guetry will..." Warren could tell in his inflection that he had every intention of being blunt about it like he would've with anything else. He supposed he didn't have the courage to do so now, and in a way, Warren was glad he didn't.

"You think they wanted to make an obhelian empire throughout all of Ashva and conquer every planet? Jesus Christ, Thrive." "We were horrible," he said. "I've said it before. The Leaders were unscrupulous for the most part. There was no shame in sight. If we were a violent people...I think we would've had prisoners in every civilization." "You keep saying 'we,'" Warrens said. "There's no 'we' here. Just them. You've already proven yourself to be as far removed from all of that as possible, and the fact that you've ——— and still maintain your bitterness towards them shows me that you're so much better than they could ever have been or hope to be." The corner of Thrive's mouth turned up. "If you insist." "I do, thank you."

Cleophis (Sanskrit: Kripa ) was a ruler and key figure in the war between the Ashvaka people and Alexander the Great. Cleophis was the mother of Assacanus, the Ashvaka's war-leader at the time of Alexander's invasion in 326 BCE. After her son's death in battle, Cleophis assumed command and negotiated a settlement that allowed her to retain her status.

The Ashvaka (from the word Ashva, meaning "horse" in Sanskrit, called Assacani in Greek) were an independent people who lived in parts of what is now the Swat and Buner valleys in modern-day Pakistan. These highlanders were rebellious, fiercely independent clans who resisted subjugation."

Cuando el rajá de Masaga murió durante la batalla, el comandante supremo del ejército acudió a la vieja madre de este, Cleofis, la cual también parecía dispuesta a defender su tierra hasta el final y asumió el control total del ejército, lo que empujó también a otras mujeres del lugar a luchar por lo que Alejandro solo pudo controlar Masaga recurriendo a estratagemas políticas y actos de traición. Según Quinto Curcio Rufo, «Alejandro no solo mató a toda la población de Masaga, sino que redujo sus edificios a escombros». Una matanza similar ocurrió en Ora, otro bastión de los assakenoi.

Mientras todas estas matanzas ocurrían en Masaga y Ora, varios assakenoi huyeron a una alta fortaleza llamada Aornos donde Alejandro los siguió de cerca y capturó la roca tras cuatro días de sangrienta lucha. La historia de Masaga se repitió en Aornos, y la tribu de los assakenoi fue masacrada.

En sus escritos acerca de la campaña de Alejandro contra los assakenoi, Victor Hanson comenta: «Después de prometer a los assakenoi, quienes estaban rodeados, que salvarían sus vidas si capitulaban, ejecutó a todos los soldados que aceptaron rendirse. Las contiendas de Ora y Aornos se saldaron de forma similar. Probablemente todas sus guarniciones fueron aniquiladas».

When Warren sat down across from Thrive at the table in the mess of the Setae’togun, he was greeted with raised eyebrows. Though Thrive only glanced up once from the tablet in his hand, he seemed on the verge of asking something. And Warren, ever intuitive and self-aware, suspected he knew what that question was going to be.

“Alright,” he sighed, folding his hands on the surface of the table. “Out with it.”

Thrive’s focus visibly drifted from the tablet, herding his thoughts together and how best to vocalize them, and he did so slowly and carefully. “...Lieutenant Lyressa—”

“Look, I’m feeling a bit insecure lately. I got a bit territorial. I know he wasn’t flirting with you when we met him, but he’s very attractive, and your rapport with him was flawless, and it got my hackles raised.”

After a pause, Thrive set the tablet on the table. “The proper response, then, was a public display of affection in full view of your entire crew.”

“It...wasn’t that public.”

“You’re right. You had the wherewithal to, at the very least, drag me to the back corner of the bridge before you decided to engage me in what can only be described as the desperate kiss of a man about to throw himself head-first into a one-sided battle, pessimistically.”

Warren twisted his fingers together. “I’m sorry. I’m sorry.”

Thrive swept his eyes over him. “Was there a sincere worry that I would start to physically desire someone untouched?”

“Of course not.” Warren drooped, slumping over the table. “I know that would be impossible. I’m just...” He hesitated, checking around to make sure no one had joined them despite the fact that it was close to the middle of common night and the rest of the crew was in bed. “I don’t...feel good enough for you these days. You being not just a king, but the king now, being as powerful as you are...you’ve had millions fawning over you practically since everyone knew about you and yet that number has somehow quadrupled recently. I don’t feel like I can measure up to someone else better deserving of you.”

A small crease of concern formed between Thrive’s brows. “Have I made you feel that way?” he asked softly.

“No.” Warren placed a hand over Thrive’s arm. “You could never. It’s...a ‘me’ thing. Often I find myself wondering...maybe one day you’ll realize you could do so much better than me.”

Thrive leaned in, affectionately running his own hand over Warren’s forearm. “Then remind yourself that out of all those residing in two galaxies, I chose you.”

“I don’t know about Ashva, but you sure as hell haven’t met everyone in the Milky Way, Thrive.”

“And I wouldn’t choose anyone else if I had. Do you know why?”

Warren dropped his eyes to Thrive’s lips, then dragged them back up to his unwavering gaze. “Why?”

“Because none of them are you.”

“What if I had a clone out there? An identical clone that was walking around talking like me, with my personality and everything?”

“Are you asking me if I would leave you...for you?”

Warren shrugged. “It wouldn't be me, though, not really. It would be me, but only to you, because my consciousness is only in this body and not the clone. So he would be me, essentially, but from the moment he was cloned forward, he wouldn’t be, because he’d be experiencing things differently from me. And as I can’t be conscious in two bodies at once, to my knowledge, he would be me while simultaneously not being me.”

Thrive sat silently for a moment, staring down at the tablet though he wasn’t seeing it at all. He appeared unable to form words before the crease in his brow deepened.

“Warren,” he said at length, and heavily. “I think...I think if I had to deal with more than one of you, I would atomize myself again.”

They met eyes once more, and Warren started to laugh.

Why is Ashwattama associated with horses?

his name basically means a “a horse scream/powerful horse-like scream” because according to the mahabharata he cried like a horse when he was a baby (With Ashwa/Ashva meaning horse)

Everything to know about the new parliament -

Recently pime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the new Parliament building on the morning of 28may

There were many reasons for the construction of the new parliament such as-

1. It was outdated - the old parliament had poor water supply and air conditioning. Its fire-fighting system was also poor, and the electrical wire were a major fire threat.

* Its structure was also not safe for earthquake because it is constructed in Delhi which is classified in seismic zone iv. The new parliament is earthquake safe.

2. The old parliament was made by The British not Indians. To replace the British parliament the parliament was constructed.

The old parliament also did not showcase the Indian heritage, but the new parliament is decorated with Indian- art, ancient drawings and sculptors, symbols and traditions.

3. the new parliament is also constructed because the technology was outdated in the old parliament. The now parliament has proper conference rooms, lighting and security technology.

4. lack of space – the current parliament does not have enough space for new members. The old parliament had seats form 543 members in Lok Sabha and 250 members in Rajya Sabha. The tew parliament has seats for 888 members in Lok Sabha and 384 members in Rajya Sabha.

The new parliament showcase the Indian Heritage as its decoration. The main theme of the building is to celebrate cultural diversity of the country. The new parliament is in the shape of a triangle. The structure of new parliament is in the is in the theme if three national symbols- the lotus, the peacock, and the banyan tree.

On the top of the parliament the national emblem of India is placed. it is made of bronze with the total weight of 9500 Kg and is 6.5 m in height. it symbolises confidence and pride.

A sculptor of scared animals in the heritage of India have been placed on all entrances which includes Garud (eagle), Gaj (elephant), Ashva (horse), Maggar (crocodile).

The Sengol Is also being installed which is the symbol of choice. The sengol was used in the chola dynasty ( powerful dynasty of south India ). Nandi which is the vahan of lord shiva is the sing of protector and justice

The sengol was installed with traditional puja and Vedic chanting

The coin of 75rupee is also released to celebrate 75th azadi ka Amrit Mohotsav
