Okay! 

Arlo’s from a wealthy family, he’s never really experienced ‘real life’. He’s incredibly sheltered and a little too trusting because of that. 

He doesn’t really have any close friends. Everyone at his job hates him and he isn’t comfortable going out to socialise. 

He has his own apartment that his parents gave to him. However, he lives very close to his parents and since he works for them, they’re still very much in his life. Whilst he isn’t super close to them emotionally, he’s very submissive to them.

Wanted:

Ultimately, I’d love for Arlo to have a love interest, however, they’d have to be really secretive as he’s not out to anyone other than his colleagues and that was by force.

I think it would be fun for him to have a close female friend that is comfortable pretending to date him to keep his parents satisfied. There could be a whole drama thing there where she actually falls for him or not, I really don’t mind.

ABOUT DYLAN

He's the most sensitive poet ever, all he truly wants in life is an isolated cabin in the woods with the love of his life so he can write poetry about her and how perfect their life is. BUT he's been through a lot of shit and instead of letting it make him better, he let it make him mean and cynical and grumpy, which is the face he shows the world.

He had a pretty rough upbringing. His mom was emotionally and physically abusive. Things got pretty awful, to the point where his Dad couldn't handle it anymore and abandoned Dylan, leaving him in his mothers care.

This obviously made her worse and eventually Dylan was taken away and put into the care of a different family. This family eventually adopted him and Dylan is still semi-close with them to this day. He doesn't feel a family connection toward them but does appreciate them for giving him a good life.

So after he moved out on his own and far away from Aspen Creek, he met a girl and fell in love or so he thought. They weren't wise with their choices so she became pregnant and wanted to keep it. Dylan only 24 at the time, was terrified at the thought of having a kid. Instead of communicating this to her like a normal person, he left her a loooong letter and left town.

He lives on the South Side now and is attempting to make a career as a writer, but it's not as easy as he thought it would be. Tbh it's mostly discouraging. I haven't decided what he does to actually make money yet so if anyone has any wanted connections for coworkers hmu lmao.

He's pretty much introverted and doesn't have a lot of friends and even keeps those he's closest too at a distance.

He just has a lot of issues and probably needs therapy but he's not self-aware enough to realize it yet.

He is technically still in the Army as an Army Reserve. He trains on the nearest base once a month as required, and spends two weeks out of the year doing specialized training out of state.

He makes roughly $60k a year as a detective, that combined with his Army Reserve pay ($12k) he makes about $72k a year. He lives in a small two bedroom apartment on the north side.

finally breaking the news to his parents of his unhappiness, they had a falling out, believing his new career choice to be impractical and with no sustainable income, so they cut him off financially. this only gave him further drive to succeed and prove them wrong.

   Rita has never really had a conventional, wholesome, all-American sitcom style family. Her dad walked out before she ever met him (her mom wasn’t good enough for him, according to his parents) and her mom might have tried, for a while. She was always too involved with her own life and string of boyfriends and how many bottles she could find the bottom of to pay too much attention to Rita. It caused her to act out, to not care, to believe that she would never be loved, not really. But she did find someone, her best friend Mara McKinnon and her family took her in when they could and she got at least a taste of what growing up loved might have been like.

  Has a minor chip on shoulder about her South Side roots and any kind of snobby attitude she may or may not encounter. Even the contrast between her family home and Mara's was a lot.

   If there’s some kind of loud music, cheap alcohol, high heeled hooplah going on then she’s there. Rita is drawn to making mistakes like moths are to flames but what can ya do? It’s all just in good fun. What’s more is that she tends to be a bit of gossip, sticking her nose where it really doesn’t belong and hoards secrets like she really should sensible grocery products. As terrible as it is, this whole Hacker situation has her ears perked up. After all, what would Lois Lane do?

  Got her TA job because her BFF's brother (the teacher) took a chance on her and she is 110% grateful- not that she feels comfortable expressing such an Emotion*TM*. But she does feel 110% comfortable flirting with him. Or anyone. She's naturally inappropriate and always says the wrong thing.

She recently moved back to Aspen Creek after living in Washington the past 4 years for university. 

Her parents are rich af but no longer support her because she’s not living the life they want from her. And tbh she doesn’t want their money anyway (her dad is a fucking creep long sad story), so she became a cam girl to help pay her student loans

tbh she likes the job and it’s not as terrifying as she thought it would be. she’s been doing it since August of last year and has actually built a solid group of watchers

but she knows her boyfriend and close ones would probably lose their shit if they found out about what she does so she keeps it VERY lowkey. Like she only does it when she knows her bf will be gone for HOURS and she uses a fake name, VPN and normally wears fun wigs when she’s streaming

she plays the drums in a really badass band and that’s what she wants for her career but thats not exactly realistic so she’s thinking of going to grad school once she makes enough money to pay off her current loans + any future schooling costs
