The next day, it was time to visit the Best Books bookstore. I know, I know... I get way to creative with the names for my lots.

I really like the way this store turned out. 🥰 I decorated it with some reading areas which made it feel really cozy imo.

Just a relaxing Sunday in the van Basten household 🍵

While her husband is away at work, Yumi van Basten finds other ways to keep herself entertained. This one in particular is a resident of Aspertia’s old folk’s home, and his name is Farid Iqbal. I originally had planned to set him up with one of the townies, but I swear that every other sim in this neighborhood is hopelessly attracted to Yumi. She’s bi too, so literally e v e r y o n e and their mother has a crush on her. Heck, I might even have a bit of a crush on her! 🙄

And with Pascal Lindseth moving out, we have officially reached the end of the Lindseth’s round! Next time, we’ll visit the last one of the founding families. Oh, and I’ll probably be posting a speed build of Pascal’s new house on my YouTube-channel, since all of the apartment units in Aspertia are currently full. Stay tuned! 😎

Before we move on to the next family, we are going to revisit the Lindseth household briefly. Remember how I mentioned in this post that I would have to split their round into two parts? Yep, that’s what we’re doing now.

Pascal Lindseth wanted to buy some handheld electronics (I don’t remember which device), so I sent him to the local electronics store. Where he not only met one of our new townies (watch me create him here), but also decided to greet Elena Lozano in a ...fun way? Not sure she would agree on that, though. 😆

We end this round with Elena Lozano buying some new clothes, since she is a teenager now. I liked the skirt that she aged up into, so I just bought a sweater to go with it and got her some glasses + green lipstick. I figured she wouldn’t want her green-skinned baby brother to feel left out. And she rolled to be a knowledge sim, just like her dad’s! 

... Actually, we haven’t seen the last of the Lozano family yet. I will be posting the rest of this round on my YouTube-channel! If you like chaotic households, I strongly recommend you watch it.

Looks like someone is a little bit jealous.

Dominic: Oh, well. He’s in a better place now.

The round starts off really good with Dominic Lozano reaching lvl 10 in the science career, fulfilling his LTW, and his daughter Elena Lozano getting a A+. Success runs in the family, it seems!

Cassius Charlton, being not only Aspertias first City Planner but also one of the most popular sims in town, occasionally rolls the want to throw a party. This time it happened on a weekend, so I thought why not fulfill it. Unfortunately, he is so popular that he had to answer the phone in the middle of his own party! It was all ok though, as Esther Charlton the servo kept the guests entertained by cooking one of her marvelous meals. Which was even better considering Cassius son, Dominic Lozano, is a werewolf and got very hungry at around 20:00 o’clock.

The king of weird facial expressions, Pascal Lindseth, decided to grace the bookstore with his presence! Poor thing’s got a couple of zits now. And he bought like four books, I hope he isn’t self-isolating.

This is the Charlton house, actually the first house that was built in Aspertia! I do want to rebuild it, though. There is something about the exterior and the floorplan that I don’t like, but I can’t quite put my finger on what it is.

Here you have Keira Lindseth as an elder! As per my rules, I roll for changes in primary/secondary aspiration when my sims turn into elders, but of course I forgot to do it this round. 🤦‍♀️ So she remains a family/pleasure sim for now.
