ＡＳＴＥＲ ＴＹＲＥＬＬ, lord of highgarden. 

aster is adorned most noticeably in a calf long dress coat that is deep emerald color, covered in beautiful embroidered golden roses. he often is caught throughout the evening swishing it around dramatically to make his niece and nephew laugh. the lord is accompanied by his youngest sister, lady alerie tyrell, and mother, dowager lady tyrell, on either arm. he gifts his youngest sister his first dance of the night, twirling them eagerly around the floor.

Ravenna recalled first coming to stay at the Red Keep and being completely fascinated by how many little castles the one large dominion seemed to contain. If you ever wished for a change of scenery, all one needed to do was go for a walk until they found themselves somewhere different. In this instance, seeking fresh air but hopefully little to no company, the brunette had found her way to the Rookery. Standing outside and watching all the birds mill around, flying in and out, a footstep from behind caught her off guard. The oldest Caron daughter turned on her heel in time to see Aster Tyrell and a raven passing by delivering a white splotch onto the nobleman’s clothes.

 adorned in a neat black outfit, hands full of multiple rings, and a dazzling smile with flushed cheeks, covered in intricate deep red accents, including a flame inspired mask, meant to resemble the blood and fire that forged the iron throne itself.

╰     ┈     [    douglas boothi  ,  29  ,  cisman  ,  he/him  ]    in  the  time  of  dragons  ,  ASTER  TYRELL  is  entering  the  game  of  thrones. said  to  be  strong-willed  +  witty  ,  we  can  only  hope  that  is  the  case  as  regrettably  they  are  also  well  known  to  be  cavalier  +  melodramatic. when  asked  about  them  ,  people  are  always  reminded  of  thundering  footsteps  accompanied  by  small  laughter,  bright  red  tear  stained  cheeks,  the  light  feeling  in  your  stomach  when  you  fall,  dried  flowers  tucked  carefully  into  a  letter. though  they  are  the  LORD  OF  HIGHGARDEN  ,  their  true  loyalties  lie  with  house  tyrell  and  rumour  has  it  that  if  given  the  choice  they  would  support  the  prince  of  summerhill  /  their  family  above  all  else. those  of  us  in  the  shadows  wish  them  luck  and  can  only  hope  they  will  survive  what  is  to  come.

PARENTS: former ruling lord of highgarden ( deceased ) & dowager lady utp tyrell.  SIBLINGS:   davios tyrell ( older brother/ruling lord ), leyla tyrell nee hightower ( sister in law/ruling lady ), olyvar tyrell ( older brother ), daella targaryen nee tyrell ( younger sister/princess ), circe flowers ( younger half sister ), utp tyrell ( younger sister ), alerie tyrell ( youngest sister).  CHILDREN:  none. 

𝐇𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲

- born as the dead center middle child of all of his siblings, aster spent most of his childhood chasing after his brothers, stomping down the hallways crying after them, sneaking in on tutoring sessions and watching them train with giant eyes and a star struck look on his face. this similarly applied to his sisters as well, often doting on their whims and even as a teenager taking any chance to prod them into causing havoc and giving them an easy training partner for sword lessons or fighting. 

- aster never really was drawn to fighting or violence, dreading his sword lessons without a sibling to keep his attention, and struggling when he was younger till he grew into his limbs. he was instead drawn to writing and stories, eating up any bit of history and legends he could get his hands on. whenever his music tutor taught him a new song, or he learned a new legend or story from his books he’d repeat it for days to whoever would listen, sometimes making his family watch as he acted it out if he happened to catch them in the hall.  - while he’s never felt an immense sense of duty or responsibility to his title, aster has always wanted to make his family proud of him- dreading the idea of ever being a black sheep in his family. he made sure to take extra care in his studies and lessons, though he didn’t shy away from complaining to his parents about how dreadful they were.  - now grown, aster still strives to make his family proud, and daydreams about a marriage one day with a love that’s passionate enough to rival all the stories he’s read with a family like the one he grew up in. 

𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐬

- aster is a strong emotion based person, he feels with all of him regardless of whether that hurts or helps. 

- if you are close to him, he will not hesitate to tell you all about his “ woes “, the way the weather has slighted him personally, or how he dreamt of taking a bathe fully clothed- but he doesn’t spill other’s secrets, and is careful with his own. 

- he’s constantly humming a tune when by himself, turning the same songs over and over again in his head. 

- a passionate romantic, while not married yet, he’s had many passing loves that have shattered his heart & rebuilt it again ( basically a lot of fleeting crushes in his youth ).
