I know it's not brought up often in the comics, but Cacofonix singing so badly he makes it rain is a joke that i still think is hilarious and adorable
#asterix#asterix and obelix#asterix et obelix#cacofonix#assurancetourix#fulliautomatix#cétautomatix#my art#it might not be clear but that's definitely who's in the little boat coming up to give the bard a wallop#i have a big soft spot for the magic carpet#asterix the gladiator and asterix in britain were our first two that we had for as long as i remember#but asterix and the magic carpet was one of the first that my brother and i bought with our own money and we read it to tatters#anyway i was rereading some asterix comics this weekend and i felt the urge to try to draw this man's ridiculous hair#anyway i have the same problem drawing asterix characters that i do with tintin characters#it's such a DISTINCT style that there's really no winning for losing there's no way to adequate mimic the style
