Yuk ke Straya Part 1

Good evening mate! This is my first time I write on the tumblr I want to share my experience about my life during I stay in Straya. Well, firstly I will start by describing the Australian country. Australia is a federation of six states and two territories, is one of the world's great economic and migration success stories. Australia is a unique, modern and dynamic trading nation of 22 million people with an ancient indigenous history, and a European cultural background. 

Australia’s coastline stretches almost 50,000 kilometres and is linked by over 10,000 beaches, more than any other country in the world. More  than 85 per cent of Australians lives within 50 kilometres of the coast, making it an integral part of our laid-back lifestyle.

Australia ranks as one of the best countries to live in the world by international  comparisons of wealth, education, health and quality of life. The sixth-largest  country by land mass, its population is comparatively small with most people  living around the eastern and south-eastern coastlines.

In shaping its foreign and economic policy, Australia first looked to Europe and  the US but in the last 20 years has developed stronger ties with Asia. It has  acted as peacekeeper in the region sending missions to Solomon Islands, East  Timor and Papua New Guinea.

Although Australia remains part of the Commonwealth, the future role of the  monarchy has been a recurring issue in politics. An aging population, pressure  on infrastructure and environmental concerns such as climate change are some of the long-term challenges facing the country.

How much salary can be earned while working in Australia? According to data from the OECD in 2015 Australia's Minimum wage is US $9,54 per hour or A$14.63 per hour but in 2019 the minimum wage increased to 19.49 per hour. You can imagine if you work for a minimum of 40 hours a week then you will earn A$779.6 but in fact many companies in Australia pay their employees about 24.36 per hour with a total of 50 hours of work in a week even up to 55 hours so if you work 55 hours you will get A$1339.8 which is around Rp 13.000.000 in a week.
