A/N: i am so prepared to write this!! fluff is amazing. i'm going to split this up into how they want to receive love AND how they like to show it ^^ this might get long so i'm going to put a break here just in case >< [hello post writing note, these definitely got longer and longer the more time went on, sorry about that. also shoutout to my gf for helping me write these because she loves mingi a lot]

Hongjoong:

Giving: Gifts I think he likes to get little gifts for his s/o to show them he was thinking about them. Like we all know this man never takes a break at the studio so it'd probably be short but frequent visits with him. On his way back from the studio, he'll stop by the bakery and pick up your favorite pastry, a coffee, or when he's on tour he makes sure to get you a little trinket at every stop. Wants to make sure even when you're not with him, he's thinking about you! Receiving: Quality Time He doesn't get a lot of time with you so when he does, he savors it. He probably likes to go on cute little dates out whenever he doesn't have anything to do that day. Likes to look at clothes, do a river walk, but on days he's busy but wants to see you, he elects for watching a movie and cuddling in the dorm. You're his recharge person and feels comforted when he's with you.

Seonghwa:

Giving: Acts of Service I absolutely love the idea of Seonghwa being a house husband. We all know this man likes to clean/cleans up after the members 24/7, so I want to believe that he will do anything for you that will make your life easier. "Babe, I watered your plants for you." "I already have dinner started, darling." "Hey, I did my laundry so I did yours too." Like please he likes making life even the littlest bit easier for you. Receiving: Words of Affirmation I wouldn't put it past Seonghwa to melt whenever you tell him he's doing a good job. He holds himself to a high standard so hearing from you that he's improving on his dance or he hit that high note flawlessly would shoot him to the moon. His favorite would probably be when you're lying in bed and you lazily mumble to him that he's a good boyfriend, he would probably squeeze you into his chest and kiss your head.

Yunho:

Giving: Quality Time Yunho likes to make himself available to you whenever. He would constantly ask you when you would like to hang out again because A) he can't get enough of you and B) knows you can't get enough of him. Whenever you ask to hang out, he would drop anything he could or get whatever practicing done and out of the way so he can spend more time with you. He doesn't care what you two do as long as you're happy. Receiving: Physical Touch He's probably super clingy when you two are together. Not in a "pay attention to me" kind of way but in a "I must be touching you" kind of way. He likes to hold your hand, he likes to hug you from behind, he especially loves when you give him a back massage after a long day of dance practice. He won't ask for it a lot, but you know when he comes to you with a small pout and he says, "Hey baby..." you know exactly what he's asking for.

Yeosang:

Giving: Quality Time Yeosang knows with how busy his schedule it that it's sometimes hard to make time. So whenever he has a free few hours, he'll invite you over. Even if you're busy with school work or have errands to run, he'll invite you over to study or offer to go along with you wherever you need to go. You two can do your own thing when you're together but be in the same room. Sometimes that'll be the perfect way to spend your night together if you both have things to do. Receiving: Acts of Service Yeosang likes to do a lot for others, but gets super sentimental if you do anything for him. He thinks that no matter what you do for him is the most thoughtful thing ever. You polish the dust off of his drones? 1000 kisses. You do his laundry? Smothered in your favorite hoodie. Put on his favorite movie? Cuddles all night. He will tell you, "You didn't have to." and if you respond with, "I know I didn't, I wanted to." HE WILL BECOME A BIG BLUSHY MESS.

San:

Giving: Words of Affirmation He loves to dote on you, loves to tell you how amazing you are, how great you look, how well you do at [insert favorite hobby]. He's super invested in you so he is not afraid to give you all of the praise. And if you have a bad day? BE PREPARED FOR ALL OF THE ATTENTION. He will constantly be lifting you up in the most wholesome way, making sure that you know you're good enough for you and that's all that matters. He is you no. 1 supporter and he will make sure you know that. Receiving: Physical Touch Yo if you don't give this man at least 30 minutes of cuddles, 10 kisses, and 3 hugs a day he will be a pouty baby. He's just obsessed with you and feels so special whenever you give him attention because he knows he's the only one getting that same attention. He will look at you with either his lips pouted or his arms out and will only smile once you are there. He would also be the type of guy where when you're standing in a group of friends, he will be swaying you back and forth in his arms.

Mingi:

Giving: Acts of Service Mingi thinks about you a LOT. I know he sometimes jokes about being the sentimental one of the group but he really is. He's a big blushy smiley baby. Not to say he wouldn't do it often, but he makes his gestures grand. Specifically, running you a calming and relaxing bath. He would light the candles, add the bubbles, play some soft music and let you relax. When you would get out, he would make sure that your favorite blanket would be fresh from the dryer and warm. He would do smaller things like tie your shoes for you or grab your hat/scarf on the way out the door, but you an expect something big once a week or so. Receiving: Words of Affirmation Speaking of big blushy baby, you call him handsome or a rap genius? He is putty in your hands. He would get so bashful and quietly tell you, "stop..." while you dote on him. We all know he's super soft under his rough idol exterior, so if you let him how how much you love him or appreciate him for what he did above, he would not stop smiling. He would take your words to heart and know he's done a good job at being a good boyfriend. He also loves when you watch the MVs and tell him how good he looks on camera or how impressive one of his shots are; makes him feel powerful and impactful

Wooyoung:

Giving: Gifts You can always expect the wackiest gift to come from Wooyoung. Like I think he would definitely show up with something at very random times. For example, when he picks you up from work or class, there'll be a small box of chocolates on the seat waiting for you. Or when coming back from tour, he'd find a little monument of wherever he went to bring back for you. He also would be the type of boyfriend to order you something, not tell you, have it show up to your place, and then FaceTime with you so he can see your reaction. Receiving: Physical Touch Come on, it's blatantly obvious how much Wooyoung likes affection. He will get attention from anyone and everyone who will give it to him but prefers it from you. You two would constantly fight over who got to be little spoon. He loves it when you kiss his nose because of him being cute. He would beam if you would hold his hand all night on a date. There's nothing this boy doesn't love to do with you.

Jongho:

Giving: Words of Affirmation Jongho is a smooth talker and he knows it. There is nothing he can say in that beautiful voice of his that doesn't sound heavenly. Imagine him telling you how amazing you look in your date outfit with a little smile. Then he says, "The universe has blessed me by being yours." LIKE HELLO I'M JUST A PUDDLE OF EMOTIONS NOW. He has a very calming and charming talking voice, he has no problem listening to you and calming you down when you're upset or angry. He makes you feel safe when he talks to you like that. Receiving: Gifts I think Jongho does like getting gifts from his partner. He's usually pretty open about what he likes and what he wants, so if he hasn't gotten it for himself yet then you love to surprise him with it. He'd see what little bag or box you have in your hands for him and if it's a new necklace that he was looking at or a pair of new shoes he told you he wanted, he would feel loved. It's not even the fact of getting the gift, it's more of that you listened to him and took interest in what he liked. He would definitely wear any clothes or accessories the following day after you gave it to him.
