Oh my Gosh! What an afternoon of excitement!

Apparently Jimin changed for nanoseconds(?) his profile picture and posted one of JK 

Too bad the account didn't record a video..... If there is only one person as a testimonial, let me be a bit skeptical. 🤨

But who knows... maybe Jimin was playing with Jk, as this latter did on April 28th.

I take these things with a grain of salt, because they always happen... there’s always someone in tiktok who hear voices in Jimin's and JK's vlives 🤣 

BUT

I do think they were together the night of Like Crazy's BB100, because all the k-army accounts (I follow) perfectly hear, at the beginning of the vlive, a "go quickly" with a busanese accent. That can't be a coincidence, nor a general delulu mode! 

In any case, I'm here to celebrate Jikook's love fest of this past month.

I have to admit that there was a time when I didn't understand why the hell we didn't know anything about Jikook.😫

Those who wait are in despair. And if I'm the one who waits (while quitting smoking), it's even worse, because I'm (above all) IMPATIENT! hahaha. I missed jikook a lot and I was in a total skeptical phase.

Don't scold me, I am not insecure, I like to be objective and critical. And there were things from these months that just made me wonder if everything was okay... I'm not going to go into them, because there’s no need. But I am going to share with you some of my lessons or takeaways from these months of CHAPTER 2 and that now, with more perspective, I can share, in case it helps anyone for next months.

1. The members who interact the most are the ones who are promoting at the time. 

I don't expect to see others in official content, unless they have something to promote. I guess it's marketing strategy. Just compare how Suga has reacted to other albums on socmed, with how he has been more involved in Jimin's, because he came next. 

The only exception is Hobi who is constant. Our dear sunshine..💜

But as I could see, if we want to see the rest, it's up to them.

2. This brings me to the next point: JIKOOK has chosen to show us that they are still there as usual, but without the exposure. 

Let's cry in chorus! 😭😭❤❤

JK wanted to support Jimin and for us to see him. And he wanted it to be something special, dammit! And so it has been!

I melt with him and everything he has done so far: from saying how great the Set me free Pt2 MV was going to be, to playing the chords of Letter, and the vlive reaction to Suchita and Jimin's best moments unbothered.

Plus the next morning reacting to Jimin’s live LOL

And Jimin has always been active in JK's vlives, whenever he could, with some very memorable lines 

3. What we don't see is almost EVERYTHING. And what we can see depends on many external factors. 

Thanks to the editors we could see JK visiting Jimin. It looks like they were together for only 5 seconds, but we know that was not the case.

On the other hand, Letter was not recorded remotely, nor did JK teach himself to play it on guitar on youtube, like he learned to make sushi on ITS. 

This would be a point for non-jikookers who believe that jikook has not seen e/o for months.... but, I write it as a reminder for everyone, but especially for ME. 

What we see in recorded content is Hybe's choice. The rest is either shown to us by them or we have to assume it by applying common sense.

On the other hand, does anyone expect jikook to plug in a vlive when they're at home together watching The Notebook for the umpteenth time? I don't... Which brings me to the next point...

4. Army is always a support to Jungkook

I really believe that when he has been feeling very bored, alone or melancholic, we have been a help to him. Maybe he needed a rest, but at some point the inactivity has taken its toll on him, given that he didn't have his precious people around him.

In particular, I am happy to see him in his new role as CK ambassador and to see him travelling and active, at least until he enters the more intense work phase of his future projects.

So when I've seen Tae at his home, or with him at concerts, far from worrying about the cults's reaction (Who cares!!), I've been glad he was getting him out of the Mikrokosmos cave, because JK is an introvert and his comfort zone isn't exactly socialising.

[How I feel about Tae and his vlives and name dropping at certain times is another matter. But I have no doubt that Tae loves him and has made it a point to take him out bowling or to concerts]

5. Perhaps most controversial, but most obvious.....JIKOOK don't officially live together and that's what we're going to see from here until they leave for military service. So it's best not to give too much thought to the issue of houses.

But there is a very big obviousness to this issue. JK lives in a house rented by Hybe, with furniture from the dorms and barely decorated (althoug full of underwear 😁), as if he can't rent a house while his mansion in Itaewoon is being built...LOL! It's a joke! (and by this I mean that perhaps he spends part of his time elsewhere 😏).

If jikook is an established couple, as many of us think, we will always have to bear in mind is that they cant fulfil everything we would see in a long-term couple, like living together in one house 24/7/365, for obvious reasons, but basically because they are hidden couple and they’re also chased (especially Jungkook, who has a lot of sasaengs behind him).

And this is basically my main takeaways.... I'm sure I have more lessons learnt.... but I don't remember them now.... or I'm tired of writing.... maybe it's the latter ;)

hello! I like reading your insights, I was wondering if you think we’ll get a ‘Letter’ equivalent / something similar on JK’s project - a song that touches on Jimin that does/doesn’t feature him?

Part of me wouldn’t put it past him but I also feel like letter was a personal gesture from Jimin, he reached out to Jk with a purpose. I feel like JK wouldn’t do it “for the sake of it”. I also feel like JK has done SO much to show/hint at his love for Jimin - GCFT for starters and his hand tattoo - (I’m really sorry I still believe it’s a JM lol. Nobody calls you “J” JK! Lol). So even if he doesn’t have a JM related track it wouldn’t change anything. It was kind of Jimin’s turn lol 😂

I digress but yeah just wondering what your thoughts are in regard to whether you think he’ll have something jimin related (even if super subtle) on his personal project/album. (Just out of pure speculation for fun, nothing serious).

To me, it seems like Jk wants to tell everyone Jimin is his. His album will be the way for everyone to hear that...once again.

Okay, so I decided to participate last minute. I have a mini-story/daydream that’s been in my mind for three years, so I’ve got a whole story plot at this point. I’m gonna try to keep it short and not so delulu (totally delulu) but I’m assuming this is a safe space for people like me! I write books and I’m a hard BTS stan, so that’s a recipe for ultimate delusion and I’ve come to share lol. So picture this, the year is 2020. Yoongi and I are married with a one-year-old daughter, let’s call her Nova for the story’s sake. We’re currently at the In the Soop location from season 2. The rest of the members are there as well with their partners (inclusivity is a must for me) Nova is the first Bangtan baby, so she’s extra spoiled by the members, particularly Tae and JK. They’re always arguing over who’s had her the most. While they’re fussing and their partners are trying to intervene, Jimin comes in and swoops her away to the gaming room unnoticed. Joonie and his girlfriend are on the second floor of the main house seeking solace in the comfort of their favorite books trying to block out the chaos below. Jin, his partner, and Jimin’s partner are in the kitchen cooking up something delicious for the gang. Hobi and his girlfriend are having a serious dance-off in the entertainment room. You’d think it’s life or death with the way those two were going at it. But in reality, his girlfriend is 10 days overdue and she’s trying to jump-start her labor. While all of this is going on, Yoongi and I are whisked away in the camping van, because the gang would find us if we were in our room, hello! and we’re two introverts and parents of a needy baby. We DO NOT want to be found right now! There’s no talking happening, just an ASMR playlist humming softly in the background and us cuddling in the bed, getting some well-needed rest!

I’ll stop here. I could write more, but like I said, it’d turn into a full-blown book if I did that. Again, I’m not completely insane, I’m an author, so I love creating stories from anything presented to me. I saw your post and just wanted to participate. Tbh, I think I'm going to be pissed if/when the brother reveal comes, only because they've deliberately put Dome and Khatha in positions where the audience would see romantic chemistry only to then go "lol jk, they're actually brothers." I don’t want to say it's reminiscent of queerbaiting, but actually... That's exactly what it is. Running into someone's arms when you're trying to run away from bad guys (and then that person protects you), putting a hand over someone's mouth when you need them to be quiet, longing looks, etc. are all romantic-coded tropes in media, which means the show is deliberately trying to make the audience think romance is on the horizon just to then pull a "bitch u thoooought lolol." Like ok, you baited us, congrats. 😑

oh yeah I totally agree anon, I think katha & dome being lovers would be beyond iconic & bring the show to new heights while also making the most sense with the number of scenes that you've stated. that being said, I think at this point in the thai entertainment industry, bl is so expected in every show that it wouldn't exactly be queerbaiting like in the west, if you get what I mean (not saying it's right though.) what I mean is that in the west, there is a great lack of representation for queer couples, so much so that queer viewers see signs of queer rep any time tiny crumbs are left by the shows' creators. in thailand, it's the opposite bc there's actually a majority of queer rep (tho as I've said before that queer rep only extends to mlm which is not good enough but still), which means that viewers see anything as queer bc we're used to these visual codes being used on screen. while queerbaiting in the west is born from a lack of representation, queerbaiting in thailand is born for a surplus of representation compared to literally every other country, which does change things slightly. but anyways, personally I wouldn't hold my breath at all bestie, but also I will deffo continue shipping these two until further notice LMAO

Speaking of their living situation a bit more, I agree that there are far more risks for them, so I am kind of curious how they approach that if they are together, together in the future after military.

Hope you get the chance to discuss about the infamous vlives for JK, one where Jin hinted at sleeping and resulting JK to end recording right after, and the recent one, where drunk, chaotic Jin appeared before his enlistment. Question, did Jin stay? ( I want to say yes, but there was an indication by JK that staff was waiting for Jin).

On the note with Jin's bday live, I know some jinkookers assume that JK was there. However, I disagree. Jin wouldn't lie, and there's no reason to lie about something like that. Some also assumed that Yoongi was there because of the cat noise, but I wanted to note that Jin's friend Hyunbin has a cat, too. (So, if you want to write about Jin's bday live, please look into his gaming friend circle, who he was close with who could have also been there, cos not everyone talked about it)

Not making excuses🫣 when I say I'm not prolonging anything but just have a lot of ideas for posts. I also would like to tackle the housing topic when I've got some dots connected and some substance to my opinions ;) So I have some earlier ideas I would be working on first, hope you'll stick around and have fun reading those.

The infamous vlives you're referring to are Jk's birthday vlive in 2021 and 2022 I believe.

Jk's birthday vlive 2022 with drunk Jin: I did a bit of a rambling analysis on Jin being there, here's the post if you're interested in checking it out :) Feel free to dm if you want to discuss more.

Jk's birthday vlive 2021 when Jin posted right before Jk signed off: I found it to be semi-sweet and semi-funny. Jin really told everyone he was waiting for Jk to come back to bed but since he was taking so long, Jin's sleeping first. Hmph. Meanwhile Jk had already stated 5 minutes earlier that it's going to be his 'last last last song', although he said that a couple songs ago too. Eventually their timing matched in a weird way, Jin posted the birthday message thinking Jk was going to keep going, and Jk signed off just as Jin posted 😂

What happens after the live ended is up to you to decide. Not baiting you to go delulu but really, we don't know 🤷🏻‍♀️

Regarding Jin's birthday vlives, I have no idea whether for the duration of the lives if Jk was there or not, because there aren't any clear indicators saying that he was. He could have been, he also could have not been. But since his presence was not felt and Jin jokingly complained about Jk being 'ungrateful' for not going over, it's fine to take Jin's word as it is. Not a big deal. The lives were like less than 25 minutes in total and Jin didn't seem super interested in staying on camera anyway. If Jk wasn't at Jin's place for those 25 minutes, I think it's fine. I wonder why some fans need Jk and Jin to be stuck together 24/7 every waking moment for the ship to be valid. Take a breather, if needed, just imagine that Jin kicked Jk out before starting the live and only let him back inside once he was done. There. Jinkook were together on Jin's birthday aside for 25 minutes that day.

Instead of the negatives or the unseen, I like to focus on the subtle and sweet. Like that heart-shaped chocolate cake front and center, which Jin 'disregarded' entirely. btw chocolate is their thing.

Besides it's not like he wasn't aware of it...he had to pull the hamster cake closer to him to light the candles then push it back to the side to show to the camera, all the while refusing to move the chocolate heart in the way. Wouldn't it be easier to light and cut the hamster cake Jinnie, if it was right in front of you the entire time? Why leave that chocolate obstacle in your way YOU CAN CLEARLY MOVE IT OR NOT EVEN SHOW IT SINCE YOU PRETENDED IT DIDN"T EXIST ANYWAY. (I actually do get worked up at times when I think about the games they're playing right in front of us. I'm lucky I actually support them. Those rascals.)

The intent to disregard the chocolate heart is further highlighted by his mention of another cake that didn't even make it to the big screen. Jin lit and hand-sliced the hamster cake prepped by the company, then verbally brought up a princess cake his neighborhood friends had brought over (no visuals), however the sizable Maraschino cherry topped, dripped with chocolate, bouncy and moist special heart-shaped bundt cake didn't even get an honorable mention. That's what makes this one special special.

As for the mystery cat, maybe it's a cute lil phantom haunting the members' houses. Idk if it's even real. Or maybe it's one of the staff's. I'm not that interested in following the trail of the cat noises. And if Yoongi was there, he would be on camera. Jin will make him.

Idk, not every trail is worth following if you dig. I've learnt that it's best to recognize the ship's main gives and hone in on those. Can't go after every will-o-the-wisp we see. 😉

I was wondering what is it that makes taekook ship the most famous? If I do a Google search they appear at the top. I tried watching TK videos but it made me too uncomfortable, the slow mo and overly sexualized content. So honestly I didn't watch much tk content.

Jikook sometimes though there is delulu versions but I think it does not make me uncomfortable. That's why I can watch more and more.

I'm butter era BTS fandom and I don't feel like going to tk blogs. If it's okay, would you please give a brief about how could TK possibly be the most famous ship (even now) when we have jikook literally out there (total couple vibes)?

Hello! Lol not you asking to open pandora's box 😂 I will answer this one because it gives me a chance to talk about taekook in a more positive while also reaffirming that no, there is nothing actually happening there. Ignore tkkrs. For real. But I also won't be accepting lots of commentary continuing on about tkkrs and their theories after this either. Welcome to the fandom lovely! I will encourage you to go check out my masterlist, I have talked briefly about things like this before too. I also encourage you to check out my duo dynamics post on taekook from my masterlist.

TaeKook is a fantasy ship. They get shipped because they are both extremely tactile people so their skinship is high (that's not exclusive though) and they are both 2 of the most objectively good looking members of the group, so people WANT them to be together because they look good together. It's also a safe ship. It's the they aren't gay except for each other ship. Or the y/n stand in ship...

They were arguably one of the closest duos in their debut years. Although jikook and jinkook were right up there as well as people JK was closest to, don't let anyone trick you into thinking otherwise. Jungkook has talked about how he had crippling anxiety about performing, about being away from home so young, social anxiety and being super shy. He has told us all about how Tae is part of the reason that he was able to grow more confident and helped bring him out of his shell. Tae is easy to get along with, fun to be around and someone who is easy to feel safe with. They were the maknaes of the group. They got into mischief together and gravitated to each other as playmates. And because of how close they were and how they played, people started to ship them.

They share a lot of common interests and a very similar sense of humor, especially when they were younger. They often had a lot of fun together, so were often found Goofing off together, playing games together, hanging around each other. The videos above are all Bangtan Bombs originally posted by the company themselves and these are ones with subs. They just greatly enjoyed each other's company. They were very close. Tae would kiss on him, JK was receptive to skinship. They bickered and cuddled and played. They wrestled and Tae was and is a good actor. In their early years, BTS did engage in a lot more fanservice than they do now. (Check my masterlist for more on that). And Tae often felt comfortable manhandling JK or Jimin into those more questionable moments on stage or on camera. They were his same age friend and his dongsaeng, they were also his best friends and usually very willing to go along with those antics. Plus they would play games where they would go down the line in fanchant order so Taekook would often get paired up. This doesn't take away from their moments that could genuinely raise eyebrows (every ship has those, every single one) nor does it take away from the geniune and authentic friendship they shared where they were comfortable enough with each other to almost kiss or stick fingers in each other's mouths, or snuggle into each other's laps for a nap. They are very very good friends.

As for why they are the most famous ship and why they get recommended the most on YouTube and Google searches when you just are looking for regular content? That would be because of their shippers. They are the most loud. They trend taekook for legit just standing next to each other. They create videos out of nothing and the views are insane. And because they rarely watch original content and relay on these edits instead. They troll the internet honestly. And because tkkrs give their ship edits and content so many views and comments because they keep coming back to it over and over, the algorithms start to push that content out to anyone who expresses interest in something similar, such as BTS in general. So then newer army get sucked into these edits (which if you don't know the original content or where it comes from can honestly be very believable) and honest to goodness start buying into these crazy conspiracy theories. It's legit a cult and how cultists work. It's hard to disengage from that once you start getting in too deep. When you are new army it's easy to believe what you are told and sometimes hard to find true information. So when a tkkr tells a baby army that the jikook toyko trip was supposed to be a vminkook one (false) its easy to believe them. It's easy to believe false narratives and simply, lies, when you don't know any better. Which is how the ship keeps growing. They spread lies and false theories and mistranslations as fact and people believe them without looking too deep into it.

Vminkook for some of these, but still tracks for this post about how close and wonderful they all were together, including taekook.

Conspiracy theories have been a part of the taekook ship since forever, but they got worse around the 2016 mark. Which is when we started getting less taekook behind the scenes in things like bangtan Bombs and memories. Where we used to see tons, they were still there and still close and still having lots of fun. But we started getting less of just them and more of them with others, particularly more of vmin and more of jikook. (All videos included here are from 2016 or earlier and all from official content 😁 the gifs/pics are from all over the years though.)

^ but it's not like they still weren't close and loved each other a lot.

So they got shipped for every reason everyone else gets shipped, they got popular because of their good lucks, the way they looked good together and because they were and are an easy fantasy ship. They are "popular" when you do Google and YouTube searches because of the fanatic way their shippers run and how that makes the algorithms on search engines work and the use of hashtags so that it pops up as suggested videos or content under all different kinds of searches. It makes the content they create very easy to accidentally find.

Again. I'll encourage you to check out more of my posts on my masterlist. Especially those under the important asks tag for posts about shipping culture and other things like that. I'll also encourage you to try and deep dive into more of their original content. Its honestly the best way to figure out the members, who they are personally and their dynamics with all the others. Plus it's best to be able to see everything yourself and form your own opinions. I'll also end this with the reminder that taekook and taekookers are different. Taekook have a beautiful and wonderful friendship and dynamic that deserves to be cherished and celebrated. They have also made it very clear (twice now) that there is nothing romantic going on between them. Try not to get too sucked into whatever tkkrs say and just enjoy their bond for exactly what it is.

Wish I could tell you why they are so popular beyond this and why their shippers have latched onto these narratives so hard. I really don't know. Regardless, they definitely deserve the popularity as individuals and as a duo, just not as boyfriends because they have said they aren't. Personally? I'm still crossing my fingers and waiting for that taekook subunit song because oh my god would they sound so good on a song as a duo together. Hope this helped at least a little!

I just wanna say hickey-gate truly did take away any possibility of any outside relationship jikook might have with other people because best believe if my significant other showed up with a hickey looking mark and THAT was their excuse we would be having words. Nobody else is suppose to be leaving marks on you like that but your significant other. And this has nothing to do with toxic jealousy. It's basic respect for other people's relationships.

So the only explanation here is that jikook were fine doing this because they're currently not dating anyone or are dating each other. Evidence points to the latter. I don't believe either jungkook or jimin are people to behave like that while in separate relationships. Call me delulu in thinking I know a celebrity through what I've seen on screen but whatever. There was a thread going around on Twitter about jimin dating one if his male best friends. I can't remember if it was the other idol one or somebody else but it was so ridiculous. The proof was them hanging out together. Going to Russia and other places. Totally ridiculous. In my reply I will try to convey to you my personal point of view in regard to Vmin and their relationship and in this case, how I see the question of them of living together.

The fact that four BTS members voted at the polling stations of their district shows that not all of them are registered in Hannam in their shared dorm.

We know, and it is no secret, that Taehyung bought an apartment in autumn 2019 in which, as you can see, he also seems to be registered. We know that Hobi and Jungkook bought their apartments at the end of 2018 in the same building and supposedly even on the same floor. Taehyung has posted photos from what looks like his apartment more than once and it is no secret that he owns and stays in this apartment. During some program on TV, one of his Wooga squad friends talked to Taehyung on FaceTime, who seemed to be at home in his apartment and wondered what he should eat.

Of course, there is more information from illegal sources, but we will not touch any of that.

It is known about Jimin and his living situation that his apartments (building) are under renovation.

Ok that's official facts of things we know. However, we do not know what the actual living situation of the individual members looks like.

Actually, all options are theoretically possible, but based on some logical considerations, some arrangements can be deduced. The fact that Taehyung is not registered in the dorm does not mean that he does not live there, or at least that he does not stay for a long time.

Jimin likely being officially registered as living at the dorm does not deny that he could also spend some time at Taehyung’s apartment. Do you understand what I'm going for? However, I exclude that officially Vmin or any couple could officially be live together. We have heard more than once about the obsessiveness of fans, about the stalking of the saessangs, about them occupying whatever buildings BTS are staying at, about the way they even go after the members families to get their hands on any kind of information’s.

Therefore, the best solution for Vmin is that they have access to Taehyung’s apartment. I think that in the dorm, and anywhere else (except for their bedrooms within the dorm), it would be impossible to lead any kind of relationship in peace.

There are all sorts of people at the dorm, their staff (like their managers) have success to the dorm and could just walk in at any time. The mere fact that Vmin (we assume they are a romantic couple) is in a fragile relationship and therefore any kind of leak, so to speak, would lead to a catastrophe. Antis and alike are just waiting for such "interesting" details from the private lives of the BTS members.

I believe that it is not possible to have any romantic relationship in a classic way within the group, and it is completely impossible for two members suspected of a romance to live together. (The same applies to J/k/ok etc.)

However, I am personally convinced that Vmin spends a lot of time together, even if only because they study together for their now master’s degree. I suspect they stay a lot together because Jimin wears Taehyung's clothes (especially his oversized boots) because even after work he was supposed to go to Tae (or Tae to Jimin) during the Billboard H100 # 1 night. We have screenshots of conversations with fans during games where Tae said he had to stop because Jimin had just made ramen, some other time he’d mentioned he was planning on doing something with Jimin the next day etc. Jimin said during Vlive in April 2020 that him and Tae like to go driving at night and many other things.

And that is also my opinion: A normal relationship will only be possible for Vmin when they are no longer the most famous musicians in the world living in a very conservative Korea, especially since they (and other members as well) still have to go to their military service in the VERY conservative Korean Army. Actual suspicions of a queer relationship within the group could and likely would only endanger the members during their service, just like I previously mentioned in my reply to an ask about Jin’s reaction to Taehyung’s “Jiminah I like you the most”.

I would also like to add some observations and thoughts to members speaking about their situation in life.

I have a strong impression that it doesn't matter so much to the fans whether Namjoon or Yoongi or even Jin live at the dorm or anywhere else.

What obsessive fans care about is where and with whom the maknaes live.

Therefore, I often get the impression that some dialogues, some scenes in RUN or interviews or other shows are shown in such a way that there is some confusion about who with who and confusion about where the maknaes live and whether they live together or not. I may be delulu, but I often get such an impression, especially when it comes to Jimin, that he deliberately says certain things in a way that can be interpreted in multiples ways, or like they mean something, even though likely it doesn’t mean anything at all.

We know Jimin is very private and doesn’t readily share private information’s, so it just seems like he “feeds” obsessive shippers, of whom I’m sure he’s well aware they are listening and just waiting for it, something that really is empty just so they have something to do, like JK saying he wants to make pizza at the end of some RUN episode to which Jimin asked “at home?” which was asked (or at least translated by weverse/vlive) in such a manner that shippers spent the next two weeks discussing what home he meant and if that means they do live together. Because of that, really, Jungkook can keep his privacy, as can vmin, since shippers will hold on to those empty phrases (fanservice) while the members can do whatever they want away from the cameras. Does that make sense? So, in the end, even if it seems like Jimin shared some insight into their living arrangements, we really still know nothing at all about where the maknaes live and with whom. It’s very smart PR and fits with the media training Idols in general seem to receive.

Edit: I read your comments and I want to clarify what I meant with the above part about Jimin, since I really didn’t mean to shift the blame for bad shipper behavior on him in any kind of way: 

I’m sure we’ve all seen bad shippers make the argument that the members that are part of their ship supposedly purposefully say certain things to send them “secret/hidden messages” or “hints” that “only they will understand” which in turn are meant to prove their ships. That’s what I meant by “seems to “feed””, not that he’s purposefully “lying” in their favor or feeding into their weird fantasies, but rather that the vague things he sometimes says, or his occasionally cheeky/teasing comments made in good fun with the other members, are taken by shippers and interpreted in ways to fit their narratives, even if what Jimin says has nothing to do with ships at all, he’s obviously just joking/teasing, or it’s just a vague “empty”/deflective statement to keep private info private. 

In all those cases the blame is on shippers and their bad behavioral habits of twisting the members words instead of listening properly and realizing that Jimin is joking or that what he said isn’t a hint or anything at all.

After all, Jimin said so much, supposedly, and yet we know nothing, not even about him and Taehyung studying together, which was quite literally never mentioned by them. Not even once in passing.

Of course, everything I've written is just my personal opinion and point of view. I could of course be totally wrong.

I think unfortunately there's a lot of information that we don't know so we can't really make a lot of assumptions.

We don't know if JK had to do something at the airport too and that's why he stayed with JM, or if only Jimin was held back and Jungkook really waited for him.

IF Jungkook was actually waiting for him, let's say we know for sure that he waited for Jimin, then yes I do believe that he waited so they could leave together.

And then there's the car... I totally saw him going straight to JK's car but, again, there are a lot of things we don't know. Maybe Jimin didn't see the other car, maybe he forgot he was supposed to go in a different car, maybe his manager forgot to tell him that they had to go separately.

I think it all depends on Seoul's current health protocol, which is something I'm honestly not familiar with. I haven't read anything about it. I remember early 2020 (February, March, April, May) when they had their highest number of cases, BTS were coming and going from the company, filming music show performances, well you know JK went to a bar because it was actually okay for people to go out, Taehyung was visiting Itaewon Class set and taking pictures with lots of staff and actors. I personally don't see why they wouldn't be able to ride in the same car now, but well maybe things are different now.

If they're actually a couple, AND if health protocol allows it, I'm sure they are quarantining together. I don't know about Jin, tho. I feel like if the 3 of them were together, we would've maybe already known about it because they would've said so lol.

Anon: I agree with you. JK started off with whispering in Jimin’s ear. He wanted to hide it initially. We don’t even hear them. In the whole conversation they have, we actually only see JK say 2 words.

However, people do hide what they say in these kind of situations where there are cameras all the time. I don’t think him hiding what he was saying means anything necessarily.

In regards to what I have seen people say about not speaking the language and not understanding the conversation...we can all see Jimin asking a question about him and JK (due to the pointing) and JK saying one word back (nampyeon) and then another word (namchin). Pointing is universal. As is the look on Jungkook’s face.

If you are a Jikooker and believe that they are together, when Jimin asks what they are to each other, what else would you expect him to say?

I’m not trying to make it fit. I already believe that they are a couple. It doesn’t even matter, all that I was saying in my original post was that this is when I knew they called each other ‘boyfriend’s. 

There are lots of complicated relationships out there, and I totally understand why they wouldn’t want to label it given their job and the country they live in.

Now, this is where I will talk more about my opinion so please, please don’t read if you don’t want to hear it :)

I’ve been thinking about WHY Jungkook would ask Jimin this at this particular point. This is just my thought process and all speculation.

BTS are super busy, and I expect that they weren’t getting a lot of time on their own, especially if they were still all living together. Maybe this was the only time they’d had to speak, just the 2 of them, with no-one overhearing, in a while?

Maybe JK was feeling confident and wanted to just say it when he had the courage.

Just before they have this chat, there’s a song being sung on stage which JK is clearly moved by. 

I am a huge romantic like JK, and it would have an effect on me as well, especially if I was feeling really in love (uWu) at the time.

These are some of the lyrics:

During the song, JK is singing along (he’s actually done a cover of it before) and is patting Jimin’s legs.

For me, some lyrics that really stand out - “Who cares what others say? We can’t live without each other, so what’s the problem?”

- If Jimin and Jungkook had been nervous about putting a label on their relationship, I can absolutely see how hearing something like this would affect Jungkook in the moment.

After the song, he literally pulls Jimin down to talk to him. Something couldn’t wait! What was so urgent that he had to say to Jimin quickly? It would have taken like another second for Jimin to sit down, lol.

And as you say Anon, he starts off trying to cover up what he’s saying.

Maybe he was saying something like the song sounds like their situation. Maybe he was saying he was feeling really romantic. Maybe he was saying he wanted to move forward together.

Whatever he said, Jimin was prompted to ask what they were to each other.

To which Jungkook replied. 

If people don’t want to believe that’s what Jungkook said, it doesn’t matter. I can see what he is saying with my own eyes. It fits the song before, the look on his face, the reaction from Jimin, the pointing by Jimin, the reaction of the Idol and Tae. I can’t think of anything else he could say that makes sense.

Oh and I don’t think they are talking about someone else, because why would Jimin be pointing at them both?

As I said, I am not trying to force my opinion on anyone. I already thought they were a couple. This was just the only time I’ve seen them say something like this. Didn’t change anything for me.

I personally don’t think it’s delusional to see a word that someone is clearly saying in HD zoomed onto their face. But if you do, that’s fine. As long as you are nice about it and just scroll on past this post, lol.

1 : I disagree with the anon who thinks tae has a hard time dealing with his sexuality and jk does not. In the earlier years, tae said very conservative things but since a long time now, he has been the loudest supporter of lgbt of the entire group, answers harshly to delulu fangirls and even implied he wanted to sing his love christmas song only with a man because he chose to not release it when a big hit producer made him sang with adora instead of jimin.

Sara: These are my rough thoughts as of 9th of November 2020. General Disclaimer - I could easily change my mind about anything that I say that isn’t included in the actual Timeline due to the extreme level of insight or subjectiveness that asks usually require which can only be answered with opinions in development and insufficient pondering / research. Well, this turned into a discussion which is good :) I do agree that Jk also struggles with his identity and is afraid to be outed without being prepared, which is natural. This would fall in line with him saying he didn’t want “a kiss from a boy” as he panicked in his coming of age day back in 2016 when he already knew he liked Tae (the famous day joon called for tae to kiss him). Mind you, on that same trip Tae said it was weird to hold a man's hand in public when he saw JK and hobi holding hands in the streets of Europe. I don’t think Tae said that due to jealousy. I think it was his internalized homophobia speaking (meaning self-rejecting feelings that are so common within lgbtq individuals where they are affected by what society considers correct. That’s where self-hate comes from). Both Jk and Tae deal with internalized homophobia and they’ll probably deal with it their entire lives to some extent, because it doesn’t necessarily disappear in its entirety even if you come out and “accept” yourself, especially if you live in a conservative environment. I can tell they’ve both come a long way though and they are much more comfortable in their own skin. It’s beautiful how Tae has embraced gay culture and clearly feels part of the lgbtq community. I think Tae seeks for belonging while Jk is much more “independent” and I personally think the idea of “a community” doesn’t resonate with him as much. I don’t know if it’s due to him being a huge introvert or what but not every non-straight person needs to be immersed in the gay scene. There was a time that Jk repeatedly mentioned Troye Sivan as his top 3 favorite singer (while he was self-discovering), recommended “memo” by years & years, etc, and we don’t know what he enjoys in his private life so...at least we know he did find solace in gay public figures during an important period of his life. I love Tae being sassy and shutting down fan’s fantasies, but Jk playing along is innocent and his way of being “friendly”. Jk is the opposite of what toxic masculinity looks like so I don’t see him going out of his way to look straight. He does whatever he wants. He uses women’s perfume, unironically fixed his long hair up into 2 cute ponytails while eating out, enjoys cosmetics and does his own makeup, owns pink items, etc. I’m just saying he doesn’t have a fragile masculinity. Saying bro is just for laughs and to sound cool and american. Him saying he didn’t think he could fall for a guy was a joke to overly compliment hobi while not outing himself. It’s not that serious. He didn’t have the need to joke about crushing on hobi, but he did so VOLUNTARILY. Respectful discussions are fun - thanks for being kind in your ask☺️I personally think Jk referencing “I’m still me” then taking the time to draw it in artwork speaks volumes. It was around the time Joon recommended a song from the movie and it’s a famous quote so to me, that’s not a coincidence, though you’re entitled to discard it if you wish. I also think we need to consider the context of Jk calling Tae bro - an interview in which he looked at his lips at one point, and caressed his back as he said that word. Those two were pretty affectionate through the overall interview. For some, the bro comment is proof TK aren’t together. For me, context is critical. That moment never dissuaded me on them being “real”. I know some will disagree on that so please know that’s simply my interpretation of that moment. Plus my UK friend said soon after that moment she calls her partner “bro” jokingly so I second Sara it may be as simple as that in why Jk said it. As far as the Hobi comment, I feel like that statement alone shows Jk is part of the lgbtq community. He flat out is saying he fell for a man … and I anticipate one would argue he’s joking but, for me, there’s truth in jest. He didn’t have to say that comment yet he did. I just want to leave it as I don’t agree Jk wants to come off straight at all. I mean don’t forget this is the same guy who also said grapes were more interesting than the girls at the shoot...and this was in his teenage years so🤷🏻‍♀️some may say he was just nervous around the women and that is, of course, totally okay if they interpret it that way. I just view that comment differently. And he’s wearing genderless clothes this year (2020) and changed the lyrics of “savage love” to be genderless, so he shows support, it’s just not in a bold way like Tae. He’s worn a paper clip earring and suppprted lgbtq artists so he does acknowledge the community. I think it just comes down to some people place greater weight on others knowing their identity.

I think Tae wants people to know, hence why he’s expressed loud support in various ways, whereas Jk doesn’t really feel like he needs to address it. My take is Jk genuinely just doesn’t care how people perceive him, and that’s why he isn’t as vocal as Tae, who seems to indicate he really wants people to know his identity. Jk is fortunate to have a progressive family (an example being during his vlive he said, “Anyway, my parents were like that. When I was young, no matter what I did, they let me be and do whatever I wanted to do”), he has loving and supporting members - that support system must have helped greatly as he went through his exploration and struggles. He absolutely struggled, and I agree on that, but I think it was easier for him in some ways because of his environment / support system, and who he is personality wise. Jk is a man of action, not as bothered by the opinion of others (again, we can look to his tattoos as a big indicator of this) whereas Tae seeks validation, even this year, from ARMY. Him saying during pride month, after reading the CMBYN monologue “I want to be happy too🥺” to me shows he still struggled with public perception. Personally, based on private talks I don’t want to get into too deeply in this public setting, I think Tae came more to peace with himself this year. But I do personally think Tae had a harder time coming to terms than Jk did (and has alluded as much when he’s mentioned his struggles with school and puberty, plus some of his solo work). Let me be clear, both struggled, and as Sara says both dealt with internalized homophobia, and I don’t think anyone would disagree with that, but Tae’s overall loudness, for me, shows he wants people to know. That’s why he’s loud. Jk not being loud doesn’t mean, to me, he wants to come off straight. Jk has done an amazing job over the years of smashing others’ preconceived masculinity beliefs and he does it comfortably. For me, it shows he’s just not bothered as much by public perception. He is who he is and it doesn’t matter what people see or think. I’ll agree that Tae definitely is the most vocal member, and seeing him happier and appearing at peace makes me happy, and I definitely don’t think he has any issue with people speculating. I really think it’s important to him for us to know, and i think he wants us to know. As an aside, I know I’m just a fan but I'm super happy for Tae seeming to be more accepting of himself. I know a lot of people, including myself, are touched by him, as well as the other members, for the various ways they’ve shown support to the LGBTQ community.
