Faustus Atethemall

Elm give me this link and thus I need to give a little more backstory to our dear druid. Faustus Atethemall...

Personal

1) Age?

16... Basically a teenager but also baby of the group.

2) Gender?

Female. Do not ask her this question she might strip to double check she is female.

3) Romantic/Sexual Orientation?

Ace or Demi... Depend on if she actually understood what those two words meant.

4) Height?

121cm or 4ft. Average dwarf height and she won’t be getting any taller. (Don’t tell her that, she will be celebrating.)

5) Race?

Dwarf.

6) What do they look like? (i.e, hair color, eye color, etc).

Brown skinned, black hair, LOADS of freckles on her face and arm. Also lots of hair where hair shouldn’t really be visible. Half of her hair was also haphazardly shaven off with bold patches. While the other half is standing up like anime because it’s matted with grease and dirt. Her teeth was also sharpened on purpose for the sake of hunting zombies.

7) Any disabilities?

Not really, unless you count lack of filter on her mouth a disability.

8) Is there a meaning to their name?

Faustus was named by her grandma, for she was born in a very lucky hour of the family. Faustus meant “auspicious, lucky” in the old language. (aka Latin)

Atethemall was the last name she just randomly choose on her travel since she doesn’t want to attract any of her family’s distant relative because she considered them all either jerks or dead.

9) What makes them, them?

Unlike most dwarf who either become a great smith, engineer or warriors. She became a druid because she wanted to be like her Pa. Also she can eat dead carcass without cooking and not get sick, even if they were previously undead. Also she lived a life where you are in constant danger, so she valued her friends closely, but at the same time will not waste time to mourn them. In a way she find eating their remains is an act of mourning, that part of them will now travel with her always until she too died and return to the land.

10) What do they want to be when they grow up/what do they want to do with their lives?

Be the best werehyena there is! Meaning that she can constantly provide her family and friend with food and in a safe place where the undead are not going to knock on their door every ten minutes.

Family

11) Do they have parents? What are they like and how do they act with their child(ren)?

Her Ma is a halfling and her Pa is an elf. Her Mother and Father were unfortunately killed in the airship crash into the land of Samantra. The halfing and elf found her in the wreckage and took her in. Both sets of parents are all loving and doting to their dwarf daughter.

12) Do they have siblings? How do they interact with them? If not, do they wish they had siblings?

She was the first born in her dwarven family. In her adopted family she has several siblings, most of them were killed by the zombies and were promptly consumed to prevent them from turning as well.

So far she has a half-elf older brother, that is still in Samantra, and he loved teasing her and daring her to do really dangerous stuff. She also have two younger sister both adopted. One is human who to this day remained paranoid and wary, also begging her to find a cure for lycanthrope if she can. Her other little sister is also an elf and most of the time refuse to be in any form other than Hyena. Faustus played with them both regardless and often tried to help them live in the Samantra desert.

All in all a big mismatched but loving family.

13) Extended family? Do they see them often?

She know she could possibly have some dwarven relation back home, but she consider them dead to her since they couldn’t be bothered trying to find her for 16 years.

For her adopted family she know her Pa has bad relation with their folk for marrying a Halfling so she doesn’t expect any hospitality from that side either. Her Ma does give her hope that if she ever manage to make her way all the way to her hometown, she will get load and loads of nice fresh meat that aren’t diseased. That is assuming her village hasn’t been pillaged again.

14) Do they like where they live? (Is it a safe place?)

She liked Samantra. It was warm and always sunny, the sand felt good against her skin. She does wish there are no constant hordes of undead though and that the oasis doesn’t need constant magical upkeep to not be contaminated.

For now she has travelled to Greydor and she hated the place and their stupid God. Partially her own fault for not getting winter gear but she had thought her fur was enough.

15) Where do they live? Are they wealthy? Poor? Middle-Class?

Originally she was from a rather wealthy dwraven family. However the airship crashed landed in Samantra when she was pretty young so she has no memory of her dwarven home.

For now she is travelling.

16) Do they have a lot of expectations/pressure on them from family to do great?

Not from family. From herself.

She wanted to travel around to either find a cure for zombies that plague her desert home, or find some kind of food that can thrive in those sort of land. Just to give her Ma and Pa an easier time in getting food and actually surviving there.

17) Do they have pets?

She has an animal companion named Dogmeat. A Blue-Heeler riding dog, thus he is taller than Faustus. She also got Guardy at Greydor, a Siberian Husky guard dog.

18) Who do they look up to the most/are the closest to in their family?

Her Pa and her Ma are both looked up to in equal measure. She admired her Pa mostly in the druid magic and knowledge of a lot of languages. Her Ma was admired for her cooking skill, she can make the inedible taste delicious.

19) This there anything special about their family?

They are all werehyenas. It was the only way they can consume undead and not get sick. Because in a desert where almost everything is undead, it became their main source of food and thus been turned into a being that won’t get sick from that was necessary.

20) Do they wish they lived in a different family/household?

No. Not at all. Fuck her dwarven side, who couldn’t even bother getting their ass off their gilded throne to look for her.

Friends

21) Best Friend(s)?

Dogmeat! And perhaps Razen. He reminded her a bit of her brother, except her brother had enough common sense not to kill everything in sight.

22) Who was their first friend?

Dogmeat! If not counting her family that is. Literally the two met in the desert, and they decide to split the meal. They even made a pact between each other! Whoever dies first has to be eaten by the other and no one else.

23) What is their friend group like?

For her family and her two dog companions... casual cannibals.

For her current group? She would describe it as a bunch of incompetent adults.

24) Do they have a love/hate relationship with any of them?

Razan and only because he threw her at the cleric one time. It really hurts...

25) Do they consider any of their friends to be like siblings?

Again Razan, because both of them are big and tall and likes to do stupid thing.

26) Have they ever hurt a friend or lost one?

She has lost one brother and two bird friends. They were eaten quickly.

27) Do they have a crush on any of their friends?

She doesn’t even know what that word mean... Also she is like... 16 in a group of ADULTS.

28) Do they share classes with good friends?

Her classes are run by her father and her classmates are her siblings soooo...

Yup!

29) Whom do they go to the most when they need a shoulder to cry on?

Dogmeat. Just shoving her face right into the fur. Also her Ma if she was nearby.

30) What would this person do without their friends in their lives?

Oh they will always be with her. In her belly.

On more serious note she would literally just move on. Grieving waste time, she rather honour them by surviving until the bitter end.

School

31) What grade are they in? If they aren’t in school, how come?

No school in a desert of undead I’m afraid, but at least she got her Pa. She mastered all her Papa could teach her about being a druid. The language and spell are all memorised completely in her brain. Now she just needed real world practice with them.

32) Do/Did they like their teachers? Was there a good one? Bad one?

She loved her Pa.

33) Do/Did they listen to their teachers or are/where they goofing off a lot?

She can get off tangent a little, but so does her Pa. They go off tangent together and end up learning about something completely different then what they set out to do that day.

34) Are/Where they a good student grade wise?

Very good! Her brother has little interest and thus wasn’t that good, but Faustus loved it and soak up the knowledge like sponge.

35) Do/Did they need extra help?

Extra help in stopping her from bad experimentation. She tried purifying zombie flesh and almost accidentally created a new zombie breed.

36) What is/was their school like?

Either under the full Samantra sun or in the shade of poisonous palm tree next to partially purified oasis.

37) Do/Did they have bullies in school?

Faustus and her brother ‘bullies’ each other from time to time.

38) Have they ever gotten into a fight at school?

Part of the curriculum was in combating zombies. Particularly ones that are larger than you.

39) Have they ever done something stupid/embarrassing at school?

See the zombie flower incident.

40) How far do they plan to go with school? If they dropped out, do they want to go back?

She does want to collect more druidic knowledge and has promised her father to bring back any tomes containing more druid spells. Hopefully they could terraform Samantra a little bit.

Other

41) Are they dating anyone? Do they want to date? Are the married? Divorced?

Does anyone want to date a 16 year old casual cannibal?

In seriousness she probably just aren’t interested at any relationship other than friendship at the moment.

42) What is their favorite hobby? Do they keep it a secret?

Cooking and experimenting with spells. She practices them both openly without shame.

43) If they could have one thing in life, what would it be?

An impenetrable bunker at Samantra, with an indoor garden and pure water source. Also a library in there would be nice.

44) Do they work? If so, what is it? If not, are they looking for one or even want one?

Her work is clearing out undead, whether they are dormant buried in the coffin or above ground wondering. They need to be in her belly.

She does want to be a gardener though.

45) Do they use social media?

No such thing in the world. But if they do exist, she would be on twitter and Instagram constantly. Always posting picture of her dogs, good food or pretty flowers. No filters because she want you to appreciate them as exactly as they are.

46) Have they ever been in the hospital?

No. She hates clean places, don’t trust those places at all.

47) Do they believe in the supernatural, that there is more than the eye can see?

She believed that there are spirits that links to plants and Obad-hai, but that’s about it.

48) What do they do when they get angry, stressed, or upset?

They go silent and will went into hiding. If angry, she would be grabbing rocks with her to chew on.

49) Would they consider themselves as a good person, bad person, or morally grey?

She considered herself as a living thing and that’s about it.

50) Does this OC have any part of you in them? (I.e, personality traits, similar background, etc)

We both love dogs! <3

Also preference for hot weather over cold ones.
