are ppl like idk. embarrassed or smth abt reading romance or smth idk. not romance as a genre, but even say 'subplot' its literally so cringe when i see ppl hellbent on defending books with 'this had themes nd narrative dw! the romance is just a subplot, it doesnt take precedence above the actual plot haha' which like wow man do u know u sound insecure as fuck lol

#im reading this novel nd i glanced at the reviews before reading it bc obviouslyyyy idk #nd the reviews were like that #hell one of them was like 'this book isnt like tgcf. the romance is just a subplot it has actual plot and good narrative~'#which like first of all bitch u dont deserve 2 read books if u read tgcf nd this novel nd ur through process is like that #i dnt like 2 normally say it but like id politely ask u u 2 kill urself if u dare 2 say that shit in front of me ahem #anyway it was a just a review so ny hands r clean #also really im cringing sooo hard #why r ppl so insecure abt reading romance #i dont think i can personally just call the 'romantic subtext' in this novel as a subplot #like a) the low reading comprehension makes me laugh #b) in what respect can u even compare these 2 novels holy fucking shit brooo #nd to compare the romance stuff idk which like. ugh
