So do you have an interpretation on what bugs are supposed to be? Just curious

To me bugsnax are a genetically diverse species of parasitic fungus. Below ground they're originally these weird lil blobs of snakmatter that can take shape of basically anything. They usually take the form of food and plants because that'll make other living things eat them (specifically grumpuses). The googly eyes (I don't have a hc for what they actually are yet) are there to make them look silly and nonthreatening, they don't need them to see.

..This is Sloothel, shes Vantooths youngest baby..

Shes 6-7 yrs old, semi-nonverbal and shes an Luekieuma survivor! I should've probably just drawn her normally,, but I like this thing alot and it suits her! Plus she has an little prosethic paw
