Badger Funeral*😢 Day 18 of #sophys30badgers *there is no scientific evidence to prove that badgers actually have funerals. However, some anecdotal accounts have recalled badgers sitting over dead badgers appearing to mourn, one account is of a badger cub placed in a hole with leaves laid on top of it. Another story recalls badger skeletons found in the walls of an old sett. Badger Funerals? Why not? Dogs mourn the passing of their owners and fellow canine companions.
