#baelon and alyssa stay disappointed in him

I’m so glad you don’t like Viserys, there seems to be this idea in the Team Black fandom you’re a hater if you don’t love him.

yeah, i have no idea where that came from. viserys is the most incompetent loser of the whole show (and considering his eldest son is aegon ii, that’s really saying something). he neglects all of his children, seems to be completely unaware of the conflict rising between both sides of his family and willfuly exasperates it, along with all but causing the dance of the dragons with his inability to act. not to mention he spent all of aemma’s preteen and teen years impregnating her until he ultimately has her murdered for a son that doesn’t live, and then proceeds to marry another child to ‘ease his burdens’ in terms of the lords telling him to remarry (he as the king cannot stand his ground against them for whatever reason). he puts rhaenyra in direct danger because of his horrible decisions. he sucks as a king, as a brother, as a husband, as a cousin, as a father. any good quality of his is immediately overshadowed by his apparent awfulness. i cannot stand him.

I can see Aegons school “friends” calling him a tag along and needy with Alyssa and Baelon. They’re all laughing saying he’s like their kid or a pet or something. He’s laughing it off shoving them but it genuinely hurts him. He’s just not saying anything about that to these people though, he knows they’re all nasty cunts and when he walks away he has tears in his eyes because no one has ever actually wanted him, not his mum or dad to them he was a duty and to his siblings he’s a fuck up, to his grandad he’s a mess and a disappointment to his uncle he’s not even acknowledged but to Baelon and Alyssa he truly thought that they cared, despite everything they’ve been though together and everything they’ve helped him with he’s having doubts, even if they love him unconditionally.

He would normally go to Alyssa and cry, cuddling with her, letting her whisper sweet words in his ear while Baelon just hums and grunts agreeing sitting near them both just watching them and hold Alyssa’s hand but now he doesn’t want to look clingy or needy and have them be annoyed with him for crying over nothing so he just sits in his and Baelons old room at their school and cries.

They’d find him crying on his own in there which is weird in itself, they literally don’t use that room it’s technically free it just has some extra bits of theirs in, they stay in Alyssa’s, it’s bigger and she doesn’t have a roommate, plus it’s cosier and Aegon loves her fairy lights. Alyssa running up to him squeezing him while pouting with her big brown eyes asking what’s wrong while Baelon looks ready for murder as someone upset his twin. Just these two cheering him up and reassuring him <3
