Don’t Forget the #Hashtag!

We have always been the couple at every event with cameras. We have believed that life’s special moments deserve to be captured in time. Consistently, we would hear:

✅Angie, you’re really good at this!

✅Jonel, your photos are super creative!

✅You two should really start a business!

Business had never been our focus we just loved the idea of preserving moments that can be relived through your pictures.

But as the the saying goes… Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life!

Photography is certainly something we loved but the idea of starting an actual company to offer our services seemed so scary. We asked ourselves:

⚠️Babe, should we really start a business❓

⚠️How will we promote our business❓

⚠️How will we find clients❓

We went through the motions over here in the Matthews household! We worked through our thoughts, fears, and reservations and on February 20, 2019 we officially opened the doors to M. Media Group, LLC!

On the day we launched we received an email from @Jelisa, a Life & Business Coach looking for a photographer to help her achieve her vision of curating content for her brand.

Words can’t express how excited we were that on our launch day we received our first inquiry via social media!

It was super validating that she found us through a #hashtag, cementing that if you have faith and believe in the process you can be successful at anything you put effort into!

It was also a reminder to continue to harness the power of #hashtags to #FinesseTheGram!
