Happy #InternationalTigerDay shout out from our very own #wildographydudette & photosafari leader @anette_mossbacher. Did you know that Bengal tiger eyes have a binocular vision to judge the distance to their prey. During the day, they can see nearly as much as humans. That is quite impressive compared to other animals. It is also not necessary for their purpose. To see three-dimensional perception and depth perception is the primary function. Tigers mainly hunt during the night due to their excellent night vision. They see about six times better than humans at night. During the day, they as well see colors. Not entirely as we humans do, but enough. Are you interest in a Tiger Photo Tour?
