Well, I guess I can't say "we've go nowhere to go but up" anymore.  Congrats Bombers... you won and we got to see the true "Class" of the Roughrider fans. 

Hope you enjoyed the experience of our first win at home in our new IG digs.  It was one of the hardest hitting games I've ever seen.   It was nice to hear the roar of the crowd again. 

Now it's back to work and I trust you will practice hard this week.  I'm really hoping we can take two in a row against the Eskimos.  For standings sake but ultimately for pride.

Oh No He Didn't?!?!!?!

So you think there's no hype regarding the game today?  Wrong-O bud.  This is an epic rivalry up there with the likes of the Hatfield's & McCoy's or the Blood’s VS Crips (except it’s more along the lines of the Conservative Greens VS Socialist Oranges).  Its fire has fueled the bitter barbs that only can be seen at the highest level of provincial politics.   

Saskatchewan Premier Brad "Bad Ass" Wall from the Saskatchewan Party (cool name 'bro) threw down the hammer with this 19 seconds of pure smack talking, banjo pickin’ YouTube video venom.  Guess he has the time on his hands to focus on this incredibly important CFL social issue.... I mean when your province is millions and millions of dollars in debt, what’s another day. 

Fear not Manitobans.  Our head cheese has our backs.  Manitoba Premier Greg Selinger tweeted his response in a quick and crafty manor that makes me believe he had the time to reduce our millions and millions of dollars of debt by about 50 Cent.
