I actually kinda want to get picked for a jury now but only if it’s for something cool
#i don't want a traffic violation i don't want a civil case but i don't want a murder or rape case either#well not a boring civil case there are some civil cases that could be interesting but they're in the minority i feel like#i want a bank robbery or con artist i feel like that would be fun#or they could give me a drug case just so i can live out my 12 angry men fantasy#'i don't care if he's obviously guilty of cocaine possession i'm voting not guilty'#in order of most want to least want:#bank robbery con artist art theft etc.#a civil case where someone is suing some big ass corporation#not getting picked#drug case#a non gruesome murder like a poisoning#traffic violation or boring civil case#rape case#really gruesome murder like where someone was chopped up or something#that's my order#i think being on a jury for a violent murder would fuck me up#like i feel bad for the jurors on serial killer trials#or like the wm3 trial i saw one of the crime scene photos on accident and it was awful i can't imagine being forced to look at the photos#because they're evidence like no thank you hard pass#my mom was on the jury of an attempted murder and kidnapping case#she said the guy was obviously guilty of attempted murder but she thought the kidnapping charge was stupid#my dad has only served on civil cases
